I have never voted for a Democrat….ever! Even a mediocre Republican is better than any trendy Democrat, or Socialist lately.

Anyway, I am getting better these days, but it’s BABY STEPS. I have started eating dinner at the table with the family. Breakfast and lunch, I take at my chair, but I join them for dinner. I park my walker nearby, but have been eating at the table, mostly.

The thing is, my appetite has improved. My blood pressure was up to 117 yesterday. I have been mostly in the low One hundreds, but even that is better than the 80’s I was getting a month ago.

I still get winded, walking with the Walker that 47 steps between my bedroom and my recliner in the Livingroom, or sometimes I call it, the Greatroom. This s a room that I built myself in the mid seventies. Only room in the house that you can put up a decent Christmas Tree. Has a peaked ceiling.

I suggested to Leonard, my son that he take Pinky outside today. It’s a nice sunny day..Pinky is a good boy! The dogs mostly ignore him. I can’t believe how good he was at the Magnolia Bird Farm last week! he let the lady clip his nails, didn’t blink an eye!

I got some forms for changing my health care plan. I don’t know what is best, but since I have a serious condition ight now, seems like the best choice is to dance with the plan what brought ya? Seems reasonable, for now?

My son starts his new job on Monday. So, my daughter in law will be helping me as best she can. If I fall, she won’t be much help on picking me up, but she does bring me coffee and shags stuff for me. I won’t require her to care for my bedsore on my ass. It’s mostly healed anyway.

So ....... Good to hear that you're still making progress mending !!!

Went to the local County Fair last night. Republicans had a booth and we had a nice chat.
The Democrats had a booth and seemed a bit on the defensive. More so when I told the woman-sorta-thing that "There would be less shame in having a daughter in a whorehouse than having a son in the Democratic Party".
I'm not expecting a Christmas Card from her. [Big Grin]

I'm also not naïve enough to believe that all Republicans are pure as the wind driven snow but as a whole they are far & away better than the clown show that the Democrats have become.
