The question will come down to will their egos over-rule their common sense ???
A 30 second montage of homeless camps and a tagline 'Don't Californicate our nation' would do a lot of damage and cost next to nothing to produce.
Same thing with Kamalala; A montage of her endless giggling and a closing shot of Mt. Rushmore and a tear coming out of Lincoln's eye would take millions of $$$ in ads to counter. Not even the endorsement of Arnold, the second best bodybuilder ever, helped her the last time.
They both have a lot of negatives and nobody on the horizon to step up.

They are both Pretty Face; All hat, No cattle! As such, they are legit candidates, as Democrats. And, that’s not saying much.
The odds for AOC are, well, enormous. But Newsom can do a lot of fake and seem talented. He’s like a Scion, I never actually heard of his father but he has connections to old money, vast wealth of the Getty family. Make no mistake, almost everybody in The People’s Republik hates San Francisco and San Franciscans. For that matter, there has always been a considerable feud between North and South, Dodgers versus Giants, etc. The fact that SF is geographically closer to Sacramento kinda means that they are stronger, politically. LA has Hollywood and attractive beaches. SF has Pier 39 and Alcatraz.
Anyway, Newsom has that old witch Pelosi on his side, she’s practically his Godmother….and she ain’t dead yet. So, he’s the threat, that Pomade haircut swoons the ladies. But, for every female vote, I guess there will be a reactionary jealousy negative male vole. Males generally do not like a Pretty Boy. Handsome is one thing but when mixed with a 25% feminine features? And too rugged male types, like Ahnold and males take that negative. Mostly. By the way, if he’s second best, who are you thinking is best? The Charles Atlas, kick sand in the face of comic book fame? I’ve never been that interested in the muscle man stuff. So, I’m rambling, do your own evaluation.
Good hunting. El Bee

Sergio Oliva was without a doubt the greatest bodybuilder ............ EVER !!!!!
Arnold and his 'sponsor' Joe Weider turned Pro Bodybuilding into the equivalent of Pro Wrestling.
If you weren't in Weider's 'stable' you were never going to win top honors. Sergio crushed Arnold the first time they met. Weider had to come up with some bogus ways to disqualify Sergio to prevent loss of face.
BTW; Weider's brother Ben ran the contests and Joe was known for choosing the judges.
Google Sergio Olivia. The old uTube videos make it pretty plain who was the best.

I’m glad we are exposing this travesty of justice. Better late than never! Are they still tested for steroids, or just estimating by penal shrinkage? Why haven’t I heard of Sergio? Did he make any movies like Stallone, Rambo? Or memorable lines like: I’ll be back! Some day we can attempt to define and explain the major differences between Body Building and Weightlifting, if anybody cares?
AS a swimmer, yeah we had exercises, stretching rubber etc. It was always interesting to see the football team in the pool, thrashing around and getting nowhere. It was interesting to see them barely able to keep their heads above water despite enormous effort. Maybe you had to be there to appreciate it?

Sergio was an interesting case. Defected to America from the Cuban weightlifting team, got into bodybuilding but didn't dance to Weider's 'tune' and was held back.
He worked as a laborer, meatcutter and finally as a Chicago street cop. Nobody 'supported' him and he was still the best ......... ever !!!
Like I said, google the guy when you have some spare time. He's an inspiration.
