Crime is off the charts in D.C. so President Trump sends in the Nat. Guard. The result is that even the liberal Dem. Mayor admits that it's working.
So ..........
Crime is out of control in Chicago and President Trump threatens to send the Guard there to help out.
Liberal Dems are losing their minds over it for more than just the apparent reasons.
Consider; Chicago is a Blue City in a Blue State. The Dems might be in charge but they aren't in control. If President Trump can lower crime in corrupt Chicago the voters in the upcoming mid-terms just might approve and show their appreciation by shifting from Blue to Purple.
And THAT'S what the 'leaders' are so butt-hurt about !!!
If Chicago should go Purple (or GASP) even Red the rest of the Blue State might take notice in 2028 when those Electoral Votes get counted. That would mean that the Dem. Machine would need to pump $$$ into formally safe territory, taking away from other marginal areas.

Astute analysis, kp kp. Also wishful thinking. Those cocksuckers (Dems) would rather be in charge of a sinking ship. Won’t lift a finger besides roundly criticizing all attempts at improving the situation. Of course, their preferred solution is demanding more money to throw at minority crime in a minority controlled city. Just because it has never worked is no reason to think it never will!

Yeah, that's pretty much the definition of Socialism. More $$$$ and put us in charge !!!!
What President Trump is doing is a real subtle "If you corrupt, low energy losers were doing your job, I wouldn't have to do it for you, and the voters just might remember in numbers that even your crooked ballot boxes can't deny".
