Did anybody notice the significance of that B-2 fly-over when President Trump and Putin were walking down the red carpet ????

Besides the fact that the B-2 & the fighters are friggen' awesome, the timing was incredible. Politicians are never on time yet they flew the jets over at exactly the right moment.

President Trump was all smiles and handshakes but when the ground trembled from the fly-over all he had to do was give Putin the 'Whatta ya think of that ....... Bitch ??' look.

Truly a lesson in class delivered with style !!!

Something I have wondered about, occasionally. Turns out that Putin speaks pretty good english! We have all seen those two making remarks, back and forth. So, it was interesting when I heard from a Russian watcher recently that Vlad speaks better than average English. Maybe KGB spies need to be conversant in English?

PS I watched a briefing, yesterday. They suspected that Putin sent a body double to the meeting, and that’s why it ended shortly, 3 hours instead of 7-8. They say he has several body doubles, in case of asasination.

Still shooting but with Bursitis & Arthritis in my left shoulder that I just had pumped full of Cortisone, just not shooting as much.

The Tournament in Calif. was and is a great Traditional Archery shoot.
Sadly, the guy who organized it stepped down after twenty years and turned it over to the club board of directors.
First thing that they did was move the shoot date from the weather friendly date in May to the weather questionable early March. I don't mind the 10 hour drive but not knowing if it's going to get rained out or not makes planning pretty hard.

I wouldn't think of not stopping in if I was in the area just to spoil your dog and try to steal that metate on your fireplace hearth. [Big Grin]

I have some expensive loading equipment that somebody will not want to post it on Ebay, just fuck it! set all that shiny out at the curb. In fact that’s how a friend of mine found a few thousand dollars worth of brand new Weatherby cartridges in a trash can out in the alley. I got a few pieces for my cartridge collection but price a box of 300 Weatherby today? They are at least 5 buck each.

But that’s like my box of Dead Coyote 3 1/2” less one shell, they must be approaching ten bucks per round? Yes, more than #4 buck, but not for the cost! That’s a lot $$ just for a coyote. That’s like Marlboro. I can remember 25 cents a box back in the 60’s when I smoked them. Now, what? I’m sure they are more than five dollars a box? Which is why, down in south/central they break open the pack and sell individual cigarettes per each. How much I haven’t a clue? Where was I?

Yes, please don’t sell my valuable shit for ten cents a pound. I have barrel wrenches that nobody will know what the hell they are and if they get anything it will be whatever aluminum costs per pound. Pathetic, huh? My valuable shit is pretty worthless. UNLESS I get off my ass and learn how to do Ebay, or somebody shows me how it’s done.

That’s insane, $11 a pack! You know what we used to pay at the PX?
All cigarettes were $1.20 A CARTON! If you smokes Luckies or Camels, a short cigarette, they were $1.10.

So, that was pretty much at cost. You know that beyond the materials, packaging, e3tc. it’s all tax! In the Army, we didn’t pay any tax.

But those smugg assholes that raise those prices in the form of punitive taxes, to pay for their lung transplant, it’s still highway robbery. It’s no different than charging $5,000 a bottle for water if a man is dying of thirst in Death Valley. I don’t have any sympathy for smokers but it is unfair to charge that much for friggin’ cigarettes.

And, it’s the same old thing. Buy drugs or cigarettes in Mexico and (I don’t really know) but I doubt if they cost more than 25% of US prices? We pay $1,400 for an I phone and there are barefoot kids in Africa walking around with the same thing and it’s what the traffic will bare. Same thing with fancy sneakers, they don’t pay $100+ that’s for sure. There is no doubt that Americans are fleeced for every thing! And, I think they could absolutely stop all drugs, if they wanted to. They just need to pay what enforcement would actually cost. But “they” won’t pay what total enforcement would cost. They have incentives to keep Nukes out of the country, and they monitor effectively. But not cocaine, because they apparently don’t care about drugs. Try going into Canada with cigarettes. Or booze? Or. guns, unless you are transiting to Alaska. Yet they admit the world’s rifraf, it’s comparatively easy, and always has been easier to immigrate to Canada. Yet, an American with an arrest record will be turned around and sent home. Anyway, rant’s over. Excuse me!
