Anybody paying attention to President Trump's picks for Cabinet positions and such ????

Since Trump is on his last term, someone is going to rise to Heir Apparent for 2028 and he's putting some interesting people in the line-up.

Fun times ahead !!! [Cool]

Hmmm?

I've been figuring that JD Vance seems to be the Heir Apparent? You know something?

Good hunting. El Bee

PS but, he does seem bent on actually cleaning house. Meaning Woke bureaucrats and Generals like Milley who called Trump a Fascist. And the rumor is that Milley is a Fairy and I, for one, am not comfortable with Queer Generals. Hey, that's just me, but take that one guy that was stealing suitcases at the airport, you know, red dress bright red lipstick with mustache. He had some kind of job monitoring Nuclear waste, something where he could do nothing and still look like he deserved a promotion and a raise.

Actually, considering the genuine nut jobs willing to assassinate former and future president #47, the Liberal Woke crowd needs to be seriously weeded out.

I'm kinda in favor of a plan straight out of the 50's: "are you now, or have you ever been a member of (name subversive organization)?"

Liberals started it, they picked the fight and Republicans have played sucker long enough! It's long past time to KICK ASS AND TAKE NAMES!

Good hunting. El Bee

edit: Can't be nice to these bastards! They will fight to the death over what you think is minor political stuff. Nope, they play for keeps and you had better not turn your back on a True Believer! They are dedicated, programed and scary! A Liberal will gut you if you let your guard down! Think TWO FACED, but in Spades! EVIL COCKSUCKERS! And, I'm trying to not be overly dramatic, or exaggerate!

Yes ............ Vance is the logical one to step up in four years.
But look what happened to the Forces of Evil.
They had Biden and their back-up plan was Harris and only Harris. Think Crash and Burn.
Plus ........ In four years, Vance will need a high profile running mate.

Take Heart & Rejoice !!!!
Trump has the White House.
We have the Senate.
We have the House of Representatives.
That leaves legal action as the Dems only recourse.
Oh, wait ...... Trump stacked the Supreme Court in our favor the last time he was in town.

Yes, you are correct. And, I heard a little tidbit. Justice Alito is rumored to be packing his bag, confident that Trump will appoint some bright young Conservative to take his place. Maybe even Thomas? And, Thomas is defying demands for he to step down so Biden can name her replacement. Wishful thinking. Actually, Democrats don't have a hand to play.

I'm weeping, just thinking about what a bad week it's been for Liberals. Yeah, if only I could work up some fake compassion. Don't worry, I'm kidding.

It just keeps getting better ...............
The Dems Golden Boy Gavin Newsom who has his eye on 2028 just announced that he's RAISING the Calif. gas tax !!!! [Eek!] And not a cent or two. He was talking something like $.65 a gallon. [Eek!] [Eek!]

I believe that the technical term for that is 'Stepping On Your Dick'. [Big Grin]

THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP FOR MAKING POLITICS FUN AGAIN !!!!

I hope you are right. I heard $2 a gallon!

See, that's what happens when you have a bullet proof "Super Majority" in the state legislature.

What few Republicans are represented, I wonder why they bother showing up? It must be discouraging?

I swear to god, I actually do not know how it got so out of whack? But, when one party controls EVERYTHING, very bad things happen. I suppose they can vote that every ballot I submit will automatically be examined and any vote they disapprove of will be converted to a vote for the controlling party.

I've said it before, democracy in this state is dead when both candidates belong to the same party. This is exactly how Kamala was elected senator! Her opponent in that election was Rep Gloria Sanchez. Democrat. It's some odd ball scheme they call "Ranked Preference" and I never bothered to find out how it works or how they managed to pass it?

Let's just say, many things are possible with a SUPER MAJORITY!

Good hunting. El Bee

PS Judging by Lake's failure in AZ, pretty soon I will be welcoming you folks to the world of "Super Majorities". Ha Ha Ha Ha!

HEY!

Maybe that's where we need the fence? To keep those assholes from migrating and infecting neighboring states! Just let me know before you implement that solution! That might be all the incentive I need to get the fuck out of this crummy state?

And by the way. You know how Liberals are bewildered and freaking out as to how it was possible that so many voters went for Trump?

I think it's a reaction to all the UNFAIR LAWFARE! I think citizens know when the Democrats are selectively prosecuting Donald Trump for minor and imagined "crimes". Imagine; guilty of rape that seemed to happen 30 some years ago, but it's a little hazy at this point. Never mind: GUILTY! Fine, 84 Million $ Dollars! This is worse than that crack about indicting a Ham Sandwich! If you get the right location and the right jury and the right judge and the right prosecuting District Attorney....anything is possible. GULITY, as charged!

The people are looking at the slimy behavior of the Democrats to get Trump and they realize it's all politics and COMPLETELY UNFAIR! It's warfare via the legal system and a brand new word is coined for this miscarriage of justice - LAWFARE! You know; like Warfare, only grossly misusing the justice system. They are shameless assholes, regardless of whether you are a Republican or conservative, it's just plain wrong to prosecute a man to cripple his ability to run for office or even to conduct his business, just bankrupt him with chickenshit charges. That'll keep him pinned down and prevent him from fighting back! Kinda backfired, Didn't it?

Well, if you're not packed to go you might want to have a 'Bug-Out Bag' handy.
Calif. is in a Death Spiral. The wealthy are leaving which increases the tax burden on the middle class and businesses. Manufacturing businesses are being taxed and regulated right out and jobs are going with them. The middle class are following the jobs, again lowering the taxpayer base.
Thus ....... Calif's. economy is basically service industry, homeless and illegal aliens.
Tell me how long that derailment can go on before it's a full-blown train wreck ???? [Confused]

You paint a rather bleak picture, Senior ko ko! What should I do? Sell my house? I get inquiries every day. Multiple inquiries. Every day.

Have you heard this one? If you ever leave California, don't even think of coming back! I know people that sold and moved to other states. Then, some loose a great job, that didn't last, for multiple reasons. "Guess I'll go back to The People's Republik. At that point, they find out, having ben out of the loop, they can't afford a house in Kalifornia?

All that means is that, you better not ever contemplate returning, (I know, who whould?) but economically, for many, it's not possible, unless you want to live in a trailer? There are nice mobile homes, of course. Anyway, when you pack up and get the hell out of Dodge, do not plan on coming back because real estate prices go up, seems like on a weekly basis?

Anyway, it's an option, always an option. But fuck, I don't want to die in this fucking state!

Well aware of the 'You Can Never Go Home' concept. No way I could ever afford to return to Calif. even if I had a massive brain fart and wanted to.
When I lived (existed) up in Wash. I sat down with a bottle of Chaucer's Mead and did the plus / minus things about living there. The final score was QUIT WASTING MY LIFE AND MOVE !!! Never looked back.
Trust me on this; Some people have to go to a building designated as a church to be with their God. Here ............ The sunrise is the twinkle in the Gods right eye, the view of the desert & mountains is the face of the Gods and the sunset's the twinkle in their left eye.

Safford or Sun City West, Seligman, or Salome. Anything would be better than living in Los Angles.

Thus endth today's rant. [Smile]

No. I appreciate the rant. We have to understand, and appreciate the fact that the problem with California, AND Oregon, AND Washington state, is
POLITICAL. The climate is as nice as can be.

Liberals have simply fucked it up.

I just heard that the liberal states governors have promised to oppose everything that Trump does to deport illegals.

I also have been hearing about a young woman names Laken Reilly that was murdered by an illegal and his trial just started. There are many murders committed by illegals. The Left talks about compassion endlessly. They seem to think that a certain amount of murders is just the price you must pay to accommodate all these poor migrants.

I just don't get it? Why do Liberals feel the need to help and facilitate all the worlds trash....at the expense of innocent and defenseless citizens? It's a FUCKING MENTAL ILLNESS!

Couldn't agree more with you Leonard. But.....your still in Commifornia and that is no feather in your cap. Politics in Nevada, which is a suburb of Commifornia, Drove us to of all places Tennessee. And I have to admit that at least the people here are still conservative and good and the price to live and buy groceries is still kinda sorta reasonable. Gas is at $2.50 a gal here anyways where I am at.

But the state is filling up fast with people fleeing from all those workers paradises and the price of land has gone up accordingly. So if you are ever to leave your beloved Commifornia I wouldn't wait much longer.

I hear ya, Walt. You know, my son is in Nashville, he finally got a job and is about to have a one year anniversary, and he's excited about that. Before, he was chasing all over with contract jobs, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Iowa, Mississippi and I forget where else?

But, living in motels was just part of the problem, and chasing another couple buck an hour, etc. So here he is in Tennessee and living on one of those prefab houses, but at least he can catch his breath in the form of stability.

I haven't heard him bad mouth Tennessee, so it must be OK? Although, it just never popped into my head as a swell destination? I don't quite get it, but there does seem to be something going on that makes it attractive? Maybe the people are not WOKE like some other liberal leaning states? That's worth considering....and I know; who am I to talk?

But, I am very aware of all the negative things about this fucking state, and it's all Left Wing Political! People actually ascribe my politics based on where I live. I know, I've been here too long. I've got a tax situation that will be forced as soon as I sell and cash in. Oh well?

This state has no income tax and outside of Nashville,Knoxville Memphis and Chattanooga it is rural but quickly filling up with people fleeing from New York etc. I have a friend in New York that owns a handful of companies and he hates it up there as taxes and regulations are killing him. But what do you do when you are a business type guy and everything you got is in one area. I sorta understand you staying where you are at as you are established there. Anyways I do like not having to bundle up for winter here like I would be in Nevada. The cold there has started and will last until June at the minimum and usually into July. My re-plumbed heart had a hard time with the cold and made calling rather unpleasant to say the least. I can go calling here but for me at my age I'd rather hunt sage and buckbrush but it isn't meant to be.
Anyways you are fun to pick on...

Yeah, fun to pick on! That's me, the Donald Trump pick on me type of the coyote calling world.

I can usually take it. And, I understand where it's coming from: everybody & his mother hates THE PEOPLE'S REPULBLIK! Where did we go wrong?

Remember Green Acres? It was corny but was one of the few SitComs that I liked. I never watched a single episode of MASH, or the one about Texas, "who killed JR?" I never watched any series on TV, except Green Acres, and maybe it was because one of the guys I was hunting with at the time had a cousin, (or some relative) on the show, the guy that played the government type that would go into extended conversations. I forget, it's been a long time, but I thought that show was pure fun, and "Camp".

Where was I?

Oh yeah, the good old days when the state of California wasn't disgusting. My family moved here, I think in 1955, on the highway the radio played "He wore black leather trousers, and motorcycle boots; a black leather jacket with an eagle on the back. He had a girl by the name of Mary Lou, but he treated her just like he treated all the rest. He had a hopped up cycle that took off like a gun; and he was the terror of highway 101.

The next song was; When you see me coming, better step aside. A lot of men didn't, a lot of men died. One fist of iron, the other of steel, if the right don't get ya then the left one will! Sixteen tons and what'a you get? Another day older and deeper in debt, St. Peter don't you call me, 'cause I can't go. I owe my soul to the company store!

In a lonely shack by a railroad shack, he spent his younger days. And the sound of the outward bound-

I swear, driving 2,000 miles just listening to the car radio, headed for the Promised Land. I saw a huge buck Mule deer, thought it was fake? We spent the day in Salt Lake City, toured the Mormon museum, and saw Mormon mummies, curled up in the fetal position. Kinda gross.

I forget exactly where we saw our first Orange Tree, must have been San Bernardino, or hell, maybe Upland? We stopped and stole one, I mean we thought about it, but being hicks from Minneesota we'd probably go to jail, so fuck that!

Wound up at a motel in South El Monte, maybe a couple months until we rented a house until our house was built in La Puente. Lived there for about 5/6 years and joined the Army when I graduated from high school. When I was separated 3 years later, I still couldn't buy a beer, not yet 21. First actual job I ever had was Station Installation working for Pacific Telephone and started college GI bill.

And thus ends our trip down Memory Lane for today.

Good hunting. El Bee
