I saw this last week on Fox. The New Jersey senate voted to ONLY allow union contractors to bid on and repair the damage caused by Tropical Storm Sandy. Huuuummmmmm, i wonder if they (New Jersey or?) ignored the Davis-Bacon Act and the non union contractors to save money? Perhaps da pez suspended the Davis-Bacon Act because the amount is so small (60.1 billion $$$)

To add insult to injury the bill is mostly pork. I believe 13 billion is real aid and the rest was added on to get votes from representatives of non affected areas.
