Has anyone bothered to watch the Democrats this week? I have found it difficult to watch Fox & Friends because of the convention coverage.

I've watched bits & pieces of it, depending on the setting on my gag-reflex. When obama got the delegate count needed for the nomination, they showed some goofy S.O.B. dancing around. I gotta tell ya; I didn't get that stupid the night that I invented the EverClear Martini........and there was a bonfire & women involved that night.
Instead of the Nobel Peace Prize, they should have given obama the salesman of the century award 'cause he sure has sold a bunch of folks a pile of B.S.

Plenty of Koolaid being passed around in that severely downsized arena. That's the thing, even their hardcore are having difficulty drumming up the proper enthusiasm. Hence, they switch from a 72,000 seat stadium to an indoor facility that seats 20,000. Because of THE WEATHER.
Spin like only the Democrats can do it.

Anyone see congress person dennis kucinich's response to the US Deficit passing the 16 TRILLION DOLLARS mark with OBAMAS share @ 5+ TRILLION DOLLARS, on the opening day of the DNC?
kucinich's reply was...... "Give us 4 more years and 5 TRILLION MORE DOLLARS, and we can fix it!"
I hope he repeats himself during prime time.

Koko that sounds just like my 1st wife. She knew how to use the plastic! ONCE, one time my bonus check was sent to the house while i was overseas. When i got home my (now)X was bragging how "all of our bills" were paid and i better stay out of the gun shops because "she" wasn't going to pay any of my CC bills. She had paid over 15 grand on cards i didn't know she had. D-I-V-O-R-C-E was easy. I hope we dump Kunta Kinte just as fast as i dumped her.

Watching tonight, I realized why the vote to keep the word "God" out of the platform was voted on....they thought that bat eared sonofabitch on stage tonight was, god!
I saw crying, teary eyed people throughout the audience, listening to utter babble. Maybe waiting to get into the venue, then sitting for hours to hear that goofy bastard wore them down to tears....funny bunch of folks.

i watched some of both conventions.
when they panned the audience at the Rep convention, i seen a bunch of good looking,healthy,well dressed people. quite the opposite at the Dem's. its as though the Dems are purposly breeding a new species of Dweebs.
could tell my blood pressure spiked into the 9's this past few days. when Old Joe was speaking,i believe i may have even got a bit light-headed!!.

There's no question, what with the RED STATE/BLUE STATE shit and the fact that there is no room for compromise between conservatives and liberals that we need to divide the country and see how it works out. Give them one half and get the hell out and give free stuff to everybody. The other half, put Romney in charge and I bet those ignorant bastards would be climbing the fence by this time next year!

This is all mirroring other historical political movements from the past in other countries that adopted the same approach- dehumanizing the opponent, the use of Big Lie propaganda, Brownshirt-type tactics including intimidation and threat of violence based on race or income status. The subjective application of laws based on race by the very party that has fought, supposedly, so long for a colorblind society. Their true political aspirations are showing. Victory at all costs even if it requires fracturing our society. It's a very dangerous and violent path they are taking us down. There is a reason Americans are arming themselves to the teeth and I think it has very little to do with a worry about home invasion.

John Stossel has posted a review of Slick Willie's speech at the DNC (foxnews.com).
Stossel isn't my favorite reporter, but he has always seemed truthful in his critisim in the past. Maybe LB will post it for all to read .
