The Westboro Baptist Church is planning on being present to protest at the funeral of a 9 year old girl killed in the shooting rampage in Arizona. Have these people no conscience?? Are they even human at all?? That was just a poor little girl, and I can imagine the grief her family feels. How can these people impose on the grief and loss of that family like this?? This is the same bunch that protests at the soldiers' funerals. These are nothing but publicity seekers who have no soul and are hiding behind a religion whose tenets they disgrace. They need the proper application of a little 'street justice'.

I don't understand these people at all! They have no religion, they are a cult.
I can think of many things that could and probably should happen to them. They will get their's in the end.
These people are just one of the reasons I belong to and ride with the "Illinois Patriot Guard Riders", no one should ever have to deal with protesters at a funeral.
I'm not sure if the Guard will be asked to escort the family at the funeral but I do know they would and will be there if asked!

I don't know what the Patriot Guard is; assume some noble purpose?
However Chris Mathews & Company will automatically consider the org. to be suspicious, maybe prone to Mall shootings, etc.

What a sick, twisted bunch of losers that group is. Carrying signs that say "God laughs when a soldier dies" makes them no better than muslims in my opinion, but to disrupt a nine years old girl's funeral???? If the God of Abraham is just, there's a special place in Hell for these people.

These people piss me off more than TA!!! I`d shake your hand if I could Niko, good cause for sure, can u imagine if it was your 9 year old daughter? I`ve got a 10 year old daughter & it makes me sick to think of losing her let alone having a bunch of terrorists disgrace her at the funeral. I`m surprised these assholes havent met there own demise at the hands of good folks.

I also have a 20 year old daughter whose fiancee {sp} is on his 2nd tour in afgahnistan, I`ve known him since he was 10 years old, I regularly send care packages to his entire unit, these are all american boys{men} that are just like the rest of us in most respects, the thought of these domestic terrorists disrespecting the families of our fallen soldiers is unthinkable, yet its a fact.
Guys, if you hate what these people are doing to our heroes & their families as much as I do, take a minute to click those links & give it some thought.

WOW high speed legislation, today Arizona passed a law against protesting at funerals, 100% vote of both houses!!!

The westboro group showed up here a couple years ago at the funeral of a local kid killed in Iraq. The Patriot Guard also showed, and I can honestly say they gave me hope for this country. They do awsome work.

I am embarassed to say they are from my home state. Crazy Fred is about to kick the bucket, but his nut-job daughter is picking up the slack in her dad's absence.
They are a cult under the guise of being a church. The only members of their 'church' are Phelps family members. If anyone would show up at Westboro, they are asked to leave...Like I said in a previous post, someone needs to hurry Fred on his way to meet his maker...looks like it will be the guy with the pitchfork, smelling of brimstone!

The reason these people were going to protest Christina's funeral is because she was Catholic. It's my understanding that upon hearing about the protest a local group asked for volunteers to hold up 6-8 foot angel wings in front of the protesters and, within an hour they had 4500 volunteers. Westboro then said they wouldn't protest her funeral but would still protest Judge Roll's (also Catholic). The Judge's funeral was yesterday and I've not heard of any protests. I did hear something about a radio station giving the Westboro folks time for not protesting.
In my humble opinion, these folks are as wacked as Loughner and could just as easily turn to shooting innocent people "in the name of God".
