I see now that the oil is capped off, bam bam makes a rousing speech on how "we", "I", "our" administration is responsible for solving this snafu in the gulf. Listen to the press conference and see if you can count the Is, we and our words, simply amazing the sonofabitch has the gall to babble that shit, they have done nothing but hinder clean-up and efforts to stabilize the gusher from day....Mmmmm,oh yeah, he didn't do shit for over a month, wouldn't even talk to BP CEOs about it, now he takes credit.
Maybe someone can give me one instance where he or the administration had any hand in solving this matter?, I can't find one.

My opinion is that he didn't want it capped--if this solution was available on Day 85, it was available on Day 2 or 3.

I think he is using this incident to squash off shore drilling and push his alternative energy agenda, but that's just me!

You failed to add that if it didn't work, it's still Bush's fault. That ignorant
sob ama always wants it both ways, and the Press is happy to oblige. And, if he forgets to blame Bush, the Media will mention it, for him. That's what friends are for. Our Media aught to be strung up by the heels, they gave up the pretense of impartiality a long time ago. The worthless bastards!

Moments ago, Wolfe Blitzer (who names their kid that?) was discussing with his talking head buddies just how much damage the Gulf Oil Spill did to Obama, politically. None, IMO. What did the damage to Obama was Obama and the way that Obama chose to handle, or better yet, not handle the crisis. This is all about a President and an administration who continue to think that the American people do not see through the charade he is playing through their preying upon us. It's all about taking accountability for yourself rather than placing the blame on someone not even in the game anymore and who does not enjoy the bully pulpit of the media to defend themselves. I don't allow that type of behaviopr in my kids, or in myself, and I sure as hell ain't gonna allow it in the President. He is and shall be held to a higher standard.

What they do not realize, and it's amazing that they haven't figured this out, is that the majority of Americans see through what they're doing, not only to those situations in the news, but to every single one of us as taxpayers and citizens. I say that they don't realize it - they do, and because of what they see, they continue to try and bamboozle us into thinking it's only raining while they're pissing on our shoes. It frustrates them to see their efforts fail, and to see us reject their BS and lies time and again. Better yet, it kills them to see how quickly we're able to see through their lies and connect the dots in the web they've woven. Can you imagine just how much they hate Glenn Beck? Love him or hate him, you have to admit that the guy has been spot on with alarming regularity. Scary smart guy there.

Speaking of Glenn, if you haven't already seen it, and better yet, if you don't follow Glenn's rants, you need to read his current book, The Overton Window. If you follow Glenn, this book is just a synopsis of his theories about how the government is screwing us a little at a time like the frog in the skillet as the cook turns up the heat slowly strung together in an entertaining story line. If you don't watch or listen to Beck, this book will clear up a lot of questions for you.

Here's an interesting discussion starter for us. As a writer and having been reading a lot of books lately to try and trigger my creative juices since I have a backlog of articles to get done - some within the next three days - I've been thinking in terms of story lines and stumbled upon one that would make a helluva good read.

There are lots of books and movies about threats against POTUS and the efforts undertaken by the Secret Service to protect him. With Obama, we've seen the impact POTUS can have, free and clear of Congressional approval, by appointing Czars, advisors, and the like, and ultra-liberal Supreme COurt Justices. Wouldn't it be a great read, to have a covert organization seeking to overthrow the President by first systematically eliminating his minions in high places, working their way up to the ultimate goal of going after the President when his backup plans to maintain the Presidential death grip on the country is on the ropes? I've told a number of people that my fear is that if and when the GOP takes back control of Congress and is sworn into power in January, 2011, the threat posed to POTUS and the Veep increase exponentially as radical groups recognize (probably already) that, until a Republican is Speaker of the House and just two heart beats from the Oval Office, they'd have to go through a lot of Democrats and ammunition before getting to a true conservative to fill that seat via line of succession. DISCLAIMER: May it be known that I do not hope this happens, nor do I have any diabolical plans to make it so. But, it would make a helluva movie, dontcha think?

This rambling diatribe brought to you by Miller Lite.

Cdog: who has ching in this economy. Everyone has lost at least a little in Obama's recession. I've lost less than most, but I have lost a lot.
