Former President Bill Clinton warned Friday that the anger some members of the Tea Party movement express about higher taxes and the size of government could feed the same right-wing extremism that led to the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995, which killed 168 people and injured hundreds more.
"Before the bombing occurred, there was a sort of fever in America," Clinton said at a symposium commemorating the 15th anniversary of the bombing. "Meanwhile, the fabric of American life had been unraveling. More and more people who had a hard time figuring out where they fit in, it is true that we see some of that today."
The loosely organized Tea Party movement burst onto the scene last year with thousands of Americans protesting financial bailouts and what they saw as too much government spending. Since then, the movement has become increasingly political as members are choosing candidates across the country aligned with their conservative views against lawmakers they want to defeat in the November elections.
On Friday, Clinton appeared to draw implicit parallels between Tea Partiers -- who are accused by some critics of espousing racist and radical views -- and the far-right militia veterans that carried out the 1995 attack on the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.
"This Tea Party movement can be a healthy thing if they're making us justify every penny of taxes we raised and every dollar of public money we spend," Clinton said. "But when you get mad, sometimes you wind up producing exactly the reverse result of what you say you are for."
The Oklahoma City bombing was the deadliest terrorist attack on U.S. soil until the Sept. 11 attacks. Bomber Timothy McVeigh was convicted on federal murder and conspiracy charges and executed in 2001. Co-conspirator Terry Nichols is serving life in prison on federal and state bombing convictions.

Bill Clinton is almost as goofy as Carter. Give him another 15 years and he will really be losing it.
BO is so arrogant it really ticks me off. The day after the tea parties, BO commented how he had to laugh at us. He said we should be thanking him for lowering our taxes instead. He really believes we are so stupid to believe that we are better off with him as Prez. Yes, I did pay less on taxes partially because of some changes he implemented, but at the same time he wants to raise the gas tax, considering a national sales tax (VAT), and pushing for a cap and tax bill. So lets see here, I pay $1,600 dollars less on federal income taxes. But BO wants my electric bill to double (2,660/year), gas to go to $9 per gallon (3,600) per year, and a national sales tax to top it off. I know where our taxes have to go to pay for all of this crap BO is pushing for and it isn't down folks, which is why I went to my local tea party the other day.

Ive noticed an ever present condescending attitude that bam bam has lately. Im getting where I can't stand to watch the prick on TV. He has that pussy swagger as he gets off a plane, that phony black macho stride as he swaggers across the lawn at the WH,I just plain can't stand to lay eyes on the sonofabitch.
His speaking is monotonous, rambling and always has the same pattern with every speech, very predictable, like riding a roller coaster, must be from the teleprompter?
Always remember.....no matter where he goes in govt circles, he is the absolute least experienced man in the room, with the least amount of knowledge on the topic at hand....so comforting isn't it?

I paid less income tax too. But its because I made 25k (thats $25,000 KoKo) less than the year before. Not a good thing.
On that note, most people think our business should be booming when times are bad. But truth is, nobody has any money. Mom and dad, grandma and grandpa dont have the cash to bond junior out. So, he either sits there til court, or the court lowers the bond to rock bottom.
So, fuck you, not thank you, Obama. Fuck you.

Clinton is getting goofy, wonder if he is like Idi Amin and Al Capone--got some bad tuna over the years and it is rotting his brain...
As far as Obama's walk--I agree--almost makes you want to check whether he is a man or not.
He throws a baseball like a pussy and wears women's jeans--what more can you expect from someone like that?
