olbermann is, all that he despises, What a hate filled, egotistical, blathering fucking moron, I try to watch him a couple times a week, along with the dyke that follows him, just so I know who the enemy really is. The sad part is, no one watches that channel to see what idiots they all are! Their ratings are so far in the tank, I suppose they will partake in the shock journalism, just to draw a few more into the fold.....it's a pathetic gawd damned network I can tell you that. Scott Brown was just announced as the winner of the race in Massa-whatever. So much for being a liberal stronghold. Lion fo the Senate, my ass. He was a worthless drunk that made hay on his brothers' names. LOL The future is now, folks. Time to join with the Tea Partiers and 9-12'ers and take back this country. This is historical and the kind of stuff your grandkids might read about someday in civics classes. The '10 elections will be an overwhelming route of Congress and the Senate and between now and then, I suspect we'll be going on one helluva ride as they're hurting and cornered, and we all know what an injured, cornered animal is like.
Spent an hour with one of my money guys today and he's of the mind that we're ripe for a major market correction- say, from the 10k we're at now back down to ~5k over the next two years, just in time to impact BO's chances of claiming that he made everything better. The road to getting us here, and the reaction of market big wheels has so many parallels to the '29 crash and we're well beyond the point, as far as dividends go, where that market simply could no longer hold.
He believes that this entire ACORN and mortgage crisis timeline was a construct of the GOP years ago to kill the Democrats once and for all, and he feels that the reason that the GOP hasn't stood up and fought hard is that they feel that, if left to run its course, the liberal democrats and the old-school progressives will eat each other alive through all their infighting. Maybe this is all conspiracy theory stuff, but he's drafted a rather lengthy and detailed outline of what has happened and what is in the future, and he told me his thoughts for the first time about a year and a half ago. Up to this point, his theory has been spot on.
On an unrelated note (rambling), just last week, I got a phone call from a GOP fundraising group asking me my thoughts on the performance of Republican Conservatives. I asked the lady which one she wanted me to comment on first and she asked me, "aren't they the same?" I just laughed and said "hell, no! When the Republicans in D.C. start acting like conservatives again, I'll address your questions and donate to your party. Until that time, don't call me." Then, I hung up on her.
We do live in interesting times.

skoal, I second your list. Especially Phoenix's Phil Gordan. I heard about Gordon and I don't watch local news. I only watch Fox national news.
MSNBC's ratings are so low they sold an hour block on a sunday afternoon to some fitness infomercial ad. It's pretty bad when you cannot produce a show that commercial sales revenue would exceed an infomercial's revenue. I've heard that Fox national new's ratings exceed cnn, msnbc, and nbc combined.

He's beyond pathetic. He's abrasive and offensive. It's like he actually goes out of his way to one-up everyone else that shares his viewpoints in who he dislikes and what he dislikes about them. It's been an interesting day today watching the two camps of the Democrats diverge - on one side you have the liberal democrats who are now racing to moderate their positions in hopes of preserving some sense of social relevancy, and on the other, you have the old school progressives (uber-socialists) who simply didn't get the point last night, who are still firmly entrenched that they're going to stay the course with this agenda and who put all the blame for their loss last night on their candidate when, in truth, she was collateral damage for a miserably failed ideology on the party of the people she pofessed to represent. As I pointed out above, I don't know if the GOP will have to do much to discredit this bunch any further. Looks like they'll be doing well enough at that on their own, and Olberman's agenda will only serve to fan the flames if they choose to allow him to be their public face.

Well, at least Pilosi promised to drain the swamp. Maybe now that they wasted the whole year on Obamacare, and it's dead in the water, she has a little time to address her other favorite issue?
Why can't we all vote for speaker of the house? Lance, you're tanned and rested, why not throw your hat in the ring?

LOL, I think you'd better talk to the various characters that I hunt with before you put my name on the list. Most days when we first meet up, 9 times out of ten, they greet me with, "So, who you pissin' off today?" I don't think I can stomach being PC (aka, lie) enough to last long at that job. I have this pesky "my way or the highway" attitude that tends to get in the way of diplomacy. And tanned? Catfish belly white, man. Rested? No way in hell. I'm just way underqualified, but then again, that ain't never stopped me.

BTW, Pilosi is a progressive IMO. If she says she's going to meet you halfway, keep an eye on the hand she doesn't extend in friendship because it's likely up to no good. I just don't get some of you people out west, between Pilosi and Harry Reid. WTF?!?!?

It's Sebelius, and we are just as glad now as we were upon her appointment to share her with everyone and spread the worthless all around. Hoping it'll dillute the ignorant. She's big on tax and tax, and maybe spend, especially for illegal mexicans. Always has been.

You can spell it however you like. Some ppl around here spelled it d-u-m-b-a-s-s for the longest time, and it seemed to fit.

My favorite, and most irritating, line I heard today,. that wasn't picked up on by guys like Beck or Limbaugh was where BO said, "Now we have to talk to the American people about their values" or something very much like this.
How about you ignorant, elitist sonofabitches either talk with or listen to the American people about our values rather than committing the same offensive, job-costing act all over again by pretending that you know what any of us want or what any of our values might be. I just hope and pray that the average voting American is intelligent enough to see the difference between these bastards telling us what we wanted just a week ago, as opposed to them publicly acknowledging today that they need to reach across the aisle and serve the people of this nation. None of the jerks on the left were interested in the least in representing what we wanted three days ago! We've all been too damned stupid to know what we want since roughly mid-January. So, what changed, aside from the fact that they were reminded this week that they're expendable.
