Let me 'splain this to you. We have seasons because the earth rocks back & forth on it's axis. Near the sun; summer, away from the sun; winter. People go to college to learn this stuff. Now, when things warm up they expand. Due to global warming, the whole earth has expanded. So........ when the earth is tilted away from the sun in winter, the expanded surface is even farther away from the sun, making the weather colder.
Scientists work long hours on government grant money to figure out what's best for us. You must learn to trust them. They are the ones that will invent the solar powered Yugos that we will soon be required to drive. ![[Cool]](cool.gif)
Next week, we will discuss whether trailer trash crack whores with the shakes are endothermic or exothermic. ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

STU: He was a lead author, yeah. This is also one of the guys who authored one of the original reports that started the global cooling scare of the Seventies, still one of the lead guys.
