I watched most of it, yawn.

Did you happen to notice the outline of the bullet proof vest on Obama, when he had his back to the camera?

Good hunting. LB

I watched enough to be pissed at them. If someone could please produce a candidate that can answer a damned question, call me. The moderator would have an audience member stand up to ask the question that they supposedly submitted, and strangely enough, half of those people couldn't even read their OWN question. (Makes you wonder, huh?) Then, whichever of the candidates was being asked first would step up and thank the asker (that was really beginning to gnaw at me, all those thanks wasting time and all) then proceed into a minute and a half of talking points, prefaced and ended with a very, very cursory mention of the focus of the question, which generally had nothing whatsoever to do with the talking points in between. Kinda like a shit sandwich - it looks like a sandwich, but the stuff in the middle makes you wonder what it had to do with the bread at both ends.

I think if either of those dilrods would have just stepped up, answered the question clearly and succinctly without all the politicking and talking points, the undecideds would be grateful for their forthrightness and the apparent refusal to waste theirs and our time.

My bosses frown upon us discussing politics at the Post Office (Hatch Decision years ago), so if we wanna talk about the debates, we have to ask vague questions and hope everyone else is able to clue in. One of my co-workers asked our supervisor today if he watched (the show) last night. The supervisor turned around and asked him back, "What? Biggest Loser?" to which I just laughed and said, "Yeah, that's it." Not much difference.

Every time I hear McCain utter that nauseating catch phrase "My friends", I want to poke a 38 slug thru the TV screen. It's bad enough he is my states gawd damned senator....now the sonofabitch thinks he's my friend.
How refreshing it would be to have a real candidate, but there ain't a nickels difference between the two. I'd sure like to see McCain, be McCain again.
