Sitting here working on a piece for T&PC and have the RNC on in the background as I await Palen's speech and took a moment to look and see what the delegates were doing. They're dancing in the aisles, laughing and screaming, all decked out in their red, whie, and blue. Not much different than what I saw last week with the DNC convention broadcast.

But, I thought to myself, look at it for what it is - the uniquely American way to campaign for our candidates for national office.

No fighting. No fire bombing. No death squads.

Win, lose or draw, and whether you like whichever party is partying at the time, you gotta look at how we work our ways through this process and be proud to be an American.

Alright, a second and third thought - Huckabee was good, but Rudy is tearing Obama a new ass.

Rudy did just that.

Wait till O'Reilly gets a hold of him.

Unfortunately, I can't stay to see the whole thing, Sarah was fantastic. This, I think, will be very good for McCaine.

I was very impressed with her confidence yet she connected well with working-class America.

She's good, McCain found a Rock Star. They are going to go after her with a vengeance; after all, Obama is the "Chosen One". There is nothing more ruthless and dishonest than a Democrat in an election year.

Good hunting. LB

You're right. The attacks continue. And along with them, the galvanization of the American Right.

Obama's gonna find out what it's like to have your attack dog turn on you because the more the media do to play the part of BO's cheerleaders, the more damage they'll do over time.

It kind of cracks me up that the the media, heck the whole world (Except for Paul [Smile] ) seems to have forgotten about Joe Biden.

I think O'Reily is going to be really nice to Obama, throw softballs at the worst. I'm sure Obama has already received the complete list of questions and had his handlers write up answers for him.

Dan,

I hope that is not the case but I have a sneaking suspicion you may be right.

We'll see in about 30 minutes.

Well, it wasn't hardball...but not soft ball either

Kind of sucks though that they are gonna stretch out a 20 minute interview over several days

What was the purpose of that???

Yeah, sure. Obama never thought about finally granting an interview on the same night as the finale of the RNC, dribbled out in ten minute segments over several days. All his people are media savy people.

By the way, I think some asshole signed me up for his friggin' newsletter. Twice a day begging donations of five dollars, and another sip of Koolaid.

Good hunting. LB

OK, something I'd really like to see is this Palin gal, come out, and do one of those moves like on Van Halen's "Hot for teacher" video, where she takes off her glasses and shakes her head letting all her hair fall down, Yep, I think she's hot. [Smile]
