With what is going on between McCain, Obama, and Clinto, I've come to a decision who I will vote for come November. When I goto the polls, I'm asking for a write in ballot. The name of the person I'm voting for is None of the Above. Just my 2 cents.

Years ago, I was hoping that if enough people voted "None of the above" that all the candidates would get thrown out and new people could get picked.
It's awful scary to me that out of 300 Million + people in the USA, those are the best we have to choose from.

It's scary to imagine that the most hated woman in America could wind up becoming President of the United States! Now, that's polarizing, folks!
If I live to be a hundred, I will never understand her appeal? There are a lot of fuked up people in this world.
Good hunting. LB

the choices are becoming very slim...
if you vote for none of the above, you will have nothing to complain about over the next 4 years as that voting stance, suggests you didn't care who got it, vs voting for the best of the non-value added participants.

I thought about exactly what you are saying. However, in IMO, a vote for any of the three will do nothing to support or gun rights, protect our borders, or slow the growth of the Federal Government. McCain is too much of a moderate. He cosponsored a bill with Joe Lieberman to stop private gun sales at gun shows. The wording they both used was '...to close a loop hole left in the brady bill...'. McCain's policies are as bad as the majority of liberals when it comes to immigration reform.
I believe voting for none of the above will help send a message to McCain that the hard core GOP doesn't like him because of his moderate stanch when he sees the votes he is losing. I can predict with almost total confidence that he will take Arizona, his and my home state, no matter what I do.
One point I do like about McCain is his stanch on the Iraq war. He fully supports it unlike the other two. Don't be suprise if he picks Joe Lieberman as his VP running mate. The two of them are pretty close.

Norm, I see your point, but don't honestly believe it. Someone said voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil. If the Conservatives vote for McCain, I believe the party bigshots will believe that America want's to go even further to the left. That is what the voters want.
Perhaps I should start saving pictures and video's. Then in the future I can show the young people what it was like to not only touch a firearm like they see in the museums but to get out and actually hunt and shoot animals with it. But I might get arrested for having contraband or treasonous speach, or something.
OK, I'll take off the tinfoil hat now, and quit looking for the black helicopters.

It's hard to understand logic like that. If you want to REALLY send a message, vote for Hillary, that makes as much sense. As much as I value our Second Ammendment rights, don't forget about a President's ability to appoint conservative judges. Voting for none of the above is like two votes for a liberal Democrat. Whatever, it's a free country...but not for long when you "send messages" like that!

I honestly don't know what to think, concerning this election. I am absolutely possitive that I don't care for any of the Three possible candidates remaining. I'm not convinced that Senator McCain would appoint conservative judges.
I'm sorry, If I "sent messages" I don't want to see the destruction of the USA or any loss of freedom. I surely don't want it to be my fault.
It just seems like our Gov't is handing me a $hit sandwich and telling me "here you go, enjoy".

If McCain gets the nod , and it's likely he will. we have no choice but to hold our noses swallow hard and defeat Hilabeast. I dont think a write in win is possible , the party is so fractured between the constructionists the evangelicals and so on we cant even agree who to write in. we better hope that Hillary wins McCain can beat her ,not likley Usamma.

The primary is a fine time for a protest vote, not the real election.
At least vote the party for the good people that are still a part of it.
If that is voting for the lessor of two evils then so be it. Unless you've really lived a sheltered life you have to be able to appreciate the logic behind that or a statement like "well, things could be worse."
Please, please, please, when the time comes get out and vote to keep Hilliary(us) or Broke-Back Osama out of office.
Make the best choice out of the provided offerings. Not doing so is as good as a vote for the greater of two evils. I want things to be as good as they can be, given the choices.

Okay, no sense in sugarcoating it; voting for "none of the above" come November is stupid!
You need a do over.

But what do we get if we Vote for McCain?
He's damn near as liberal as the two Democrats.About the ONLY issue that seperates him from them is the war on terror.
Plus with all of his Liberal B.S he tears down the Republican party in the process. He just about jumped ship afew years ago to join the Demo's anyway. The "True Conservative" my Ass.
I think I will just plan a Coyote calling trip the first week of November.lol
And as far as complaining about it.Oh, well when you only have 3 democrats to choose from,it really doesn't give you much choice.lol

McCain probably thinks GH Bush went too conservative when he picked Souter for the Supreme court. OK, I'm kidding.

Chad, I'm shocked! I know all about McCain's shortcomings. But to not vote for him is crazy. Imagine the NRA coming out with a recommendation that their four million members just go hunting and not vote, for President, or anything else on the ballot? It's like the condemned's last meal. I hope you do well and have a good time! Damn!@

Leonard,
I know I'm overreacting a bit,but I believe any of the 3 demo's that have a chance this year, if elected is a 4 year President because they will run the country down the toilet.I'm HOPING that the Republicans will pull there Heads out of the ASSES in the mean time and get a real honest to God Conservative back on the ticket,so I will have a voice in 2012.I just don't know if I can pull the lever for McCain, maybe once I have time to think about it I may change my mind.As far as the other two idiots running there are not enough cuss words in the English language to tell you how I feel about them.
