Sad to say, but Arnold just signed into law AB821. The lead ammo ban in Condor territory. This is just another feather in the cap for the anti's. I can't believe that this law got passed when there wasn't a single bit of evidence directly linking the lead in bullets to the Condors elevated lead levels. I'm so F'ing mad I can't believe this crap. The scientists and hippies are patting themselves on the back for this one. Here is some of the logic. Lead is killing the California Condors, bullets have lead, therefore we must ban lead bullets. Holy crap! I had no idea that bullets were the only source of lead that we had in this state. I guess it is a whole lot easier to interpret the information to fit your agenda instead of basing this on solid science.

Next...... You will see the ban extended from the boundries of the refuge to some biologist's concept of territory; ergo.. the ocean to the Arizona state line.

You mean from here to the Atlantic. That was exactly what I was thinking. If we took these birds off welfare they would have died out years ago.

Actually.......That would also be bad. There are oil companys that would dearly like to get into the Sespi Hot Springs area, since it's already mostly closed to the public and set up drilling. Amazing how much natural oil & tar are floating in that creek, and yet......it's full of trout!!
