Rarely do I share my radical side; however, a glass or two of my favorite grape juice will reveal all.
Since 911, and perhaps before, we have been facing an enemy that has no consideration for the innocent, the young, the old, the defenseless, or just the average peace loving citizen. We have been trying to fight these radical enemies, to our way of life, with our military might. So far, I am not convinced it is working.
I am not a racist and normally I am a peace loving guy. But that is changing.
In my opinion, we must start putting pressure on the American Muslim community and let them know that we expect their help in irradiating the radicals. They can no longer sit here enjoying the fruits of our way of life and act innocent to this problem. If they are not prepared to help, then they become part of the problem.
During WWII, we incarcerated American citizens of Japanese decent because we were worried about possible behind-the-lines warfare. History has proven that was wrong.
But WWII was a military war. It was not guerrilla war fare and not one of terrorism. There is little similarity to what we are facing today.
It is time that we, as American citizens start getting tough, as individuals, on those factions in our home land that wish to destroy all we stand for.
