An English professor at Warren County Community College in New Jersey is defending an e-mail he sent a student encouraging soldiers in Iraq to shoot their commanders. John Daly wrote freshman Rebecca Beach that he'd urged students to boycott a speech by an Iraq war veteran, sponsored by the conservative group Young Americans for Freedom, saying, "Real freedom will come when soldiers in Iraq turn their guns on their superiors."
Daly is refusing to apologize, saying he was merely standing up to "an ultra right-wing, possibly fascist, group."

I wonder if he would like to go on a coyote hunt down around douglas... that desert can be hard on you...
Deport him?? he should be hung for promoting terrorism... or treason...

Ultra left academia. Surprising since the modus operandi of another far left political group was "First kill the intellectuals."

I thought that it was 'first kill the lawyers'.
I can understand that this clod has the right to free speach. Where I have a problem is that he's spewing this garbage under the guise of being a teacher.

I can't help but wonder how this e-mail came to public light. The student I suppose?
Most likely anyway.

Dunno, Brad. But, last I heard, the guy resigned his position on the faculty. A more honorable decision than made by that other "professor" Ward Churchill, in Colorado?

Hed fit in, in portland or seattle. Gosh its agrivating, im going to college right now and ive got to deal with that kind of crap from teacher all the time. And i swear to god most students are dumb enough to believe it to. What is even more infuriating is that i dont go to no slouch of a school. But you probably couldnt tell from my spelling sorry guys.
