While standing on the left bank of the mainstream of America, John Kerry looked magnificent tonight!

I had to wonder who touched up his hairdo, he was a lot grayer, last time I saw him. Also, it looks like he missed a Botox appointment.

But, enough about Senator Flip....

Bush won a debate. What a relief! Four more years!

Good hunting. LB

I've been reading though a lot of posts tonight on the web about who it was that people think won this debate, and should therefore become the next President.

It's amazing to me that some people will actually vote for someone based on the fact that they are a sharply dressed slick talker.

Give me a Break! Is that really the most important qualification for the leader of the Free World? Is the American public really so ignorant that they can't listen to the message, they can only see how good the candidate looks while speaking?

Most of the BS sent to me by my Union in the last couple of months makes me embarrassed to belong. Sure, the Democrats have been long time supporters of the Unions, but what good is a well paying job with good benefits with out the freedom to enjoy them? As far as I am concerned, the Unions backing of Kerry for better healthcare and better wages is only shooting the Unions in the foot. That is the Union's job to get those things for the worker. If the Government gives out the higher wages, better healthcare and other benefits for free, who in the hell needs to pay Union dues?

I don't pay $75-80 a month to get the same benefits as the local Wal-mart greeter. If he wants my paycheck and benefits, let him bust his ass and earn them, the same way I did.

You don't deserve my paycheck simply because you were born in the same country that I was. You only deserve it if you are wiling to get off of your ass and do the same job.

Thankfully most of these liberals are all too lazy to do anything but sit on their asses and bitch that they don't do as well as those who work for their paychecks. And voting for the most part, requires a person to get off of their ass and do something.

Luckily to our benefit, the individual who's promoting and pushing for a little more American ambition has the advantage in this department.

I know I'm a little behind, and I didn't look at the date, but I just glanced through a Sport Afield, I think it was, the other day, and it showed a few pictures of Kerry holding a shotgun. One of which he was looking away, aparently talking to someone, with his finger on the triger, gun pointing ahead. There were a few hunting type quotes of his I'd really perfer to forget.

Unfortunately, I tuned in just after every debate in time to see the "unbiased" media condemn GW on his performance. Makes me sick.

Didn't Edwards make his money suing doctors?
Say hello to "recordable lost time accident" AKA doctors covering their ass. Nothing like work comp. I suppose they have a plan for that too.

I'll be so relieved when this whole thing is done. I'm tired of hearing this guy promising everything to everyone.

BUT. Have you heard that fat boy (Michael Moore) is offering a pair of clean underwear for every student who votes?

When a Dem candidate in Orange County beat the incumbent Republican, (Robert Dornan) it was discovered that she was buying votes from wetbacks and street people with a pack of cigarettes. Media ignored it, of course.

That relates to the recent ABC memeo; different standards for Republicans and a free pass for the "good guys".

You know, it is probably going to take at least one more 9-11 before people wake up and realize that John Kerry's UN debate society is not going to protect US. We need to do it probably alone, and preferably without our sunshine friends, the germans and the french. Kill those bastards, over there, and before the ACLU can break them out of Gitmo.

Kerry keeps fretting about the 1000 lives we have lost, and I am sensitive to that. But, if we are keeping score, the ratio is probably 100 to 1, and some of them were potential airplane hijackers. Really; the only thing they understand is force.

Man, you guys need to read the book, Unfit for Command. Kerry's activities have been ignored by the media long enough. He is not an honest man.

No question. This is the most important election of our life time.

Good hunting. LB

Tim, You and I are kindered spirits on the embarassment of being union. I gave my word to our state president that I would join if he got us route inspections and me a route assignment. He did, and so did I. But, the stance they've taken on this is ludicrous. The crap they're slinging is outrageous. Bottom line: If we incur another attack on our own soil, the economy will implode and at that point, health benefits and seniority won't mean spit. If the American economy goes down, the world economy will follow suit. Then again, us doing economically well won't matter one way or another as far as the war is concerned. In other words, the secuirty of our economy lies in the outcome of this war, not vice versa.

Leonard, have you read your newest Imprimus yet? What would Patton think of this war?

Sure. Admittedly, those pieces make me stretch my neurons a bit more than carrying mail makes me do, but it keeps me sharp. I keep an earbud in my ear from the time I hit the street until I get back to the office at the end of my route listening to talk radio - Dave Ramsey, Paul Harvey ( good friend of mine, we talk every day), Rushbo, and Tom Martino. My station used to carry Neal Boorts but quit because he went too right wing. God, I miss that guy. What a great show he does. The good thing is I got a somewhat informed opinion on everything important. The bad thing, according to my wife and son, is that I have an opinion on damned neart everything. [Smile]
