In the news, Wednesday.
Los angeles County Purchasing Agent has requested of thousands of vendors to remove all references to "Master" and "Slave" on video and computer equipment.
Apparently an individual in the probation department (black; how'd you guess?) complained about those designations as degrading.
So, they sent technicians to relabel the equipment at all work stations, at substantial taxpayer cost.
More thousands of emails poured in from around the world ridiculing the Politically Correct policy, causing the Purchasing Agent to explain that: "hey, it was ONLY a suggestion."
