With dismal distern we discuss the events of the on going war, We knew there would be loss of lives, we were not prepaired for the release of film showing exicuted millatary personal[our brave young people]. I am saddened to say that the film has been validated and the 5 dead U.S.soldiers were exicuted. There are POW's there now,WHAT DO WE DO?

I think the braintrust is trying to finesse this thing a little too much. A lot of talk about minimizing collateral damage, and that leaves gaps.

As we used to say in the old brown boot Army, it's time to kick ass and take names.

They won't show the film, but I get the idea, and I don't like it!

If these people think they can get away with showing executed support troops on TV, we need to take the gloves off. Give them something to worry about.

That's my opinion, at this point. LB

You just have to wonder about the mentality of those Arabs showing how they treat prisoners. Did they think that it would convey defiance of the invaders? Did they think it would gain them support from world opinion?

If any of the liberal lunatic fringe still wants to hold rallys and denounce America, in the face of this outrageous behavior, I wouldn't be surprised if they lose a few teeth, caused by other demonstrators of a different political orientation. LB

PS I can't wait to see the messages from Hollywood. Shaun Penn; can you defend your buddies on this one? They are truly stuck in the fourteenth century. Brutal savages.

Being a Vet myself, as I'm sure many of you are I thought you may hold dear to you this quote by Colin Powell" When in England at a fairly large conference,
Colin Powell was asked by the Archbishop of Canterbury

if our plans for Iraq were just an example of
empire building by George Bush.

He answered by saying that, "Over the years, the
United States has sent many of its fine young men

and women into great peril to fight for freedom
beyond our borders. The only amount of land we
have ever asked for in return is enough to bury those

that did not return."

I think that he said it all and those who protest and speek badly about our troops, who are preserving the very freedom they enjoy at someone elses expence. They [The protesters] are who I'm ashamed of.
I'm very proud of our troops and pray for their saftey and quick return home. A special thanks to all service men and women.

Hey Sly,
The Colin Powell quote is very eloquent and poignant. I would have liked to have been in the room when he said that.

After Colin Powell said that The room went silent.

What do you say to that? Not much if anything.
