Got out today for a few stands. Kept it pretty simple. Bow, pointy things and a Crit-R-Call Standard model. About 12 minutes in I looked toward the downwind just because there was zip, zero, nada going on upwind. Lo and Behold ......... How long has HE been sitting there ???? Not only downwind but on my weak side for a shot with the bow. Somehow, I got scrunched around enough for a shot as the beast decided to get gone. Got a 40 yard trotting shot that I led by three body lengths (including tail). Height was good but should have led it another length. At least I was able to find the arrow undamaged. Using some old Ben Pearson Deadheads, large size. They ain't making them anymore and they cut like a flying machete. ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)

Sorry to hear that... wind been blowing all month so far not sure when I'll get out. My guns are thirsty for a little blood.
I picked up a lap-top so working with that till weather gets better.
