well heres the two I have for sale, both females

these pups are out of proven dogs, me or someone I know has been hunting both sides of these dogs for 6 generations back. they are line bred back to two of the best dogs I know of so I think these have every chance to make good dogs. they are mixed breed of about five or six breeds, the most being around 3/8 Catahoula and 3/8 jack Russell, the other 1/4 being other stuff.

the dad is a 31 pd black dog that I use on everything, the mom is a 23 pd dog that belongs to my 7 yr old, I use her to decoy with, work cattle, dove hunt, about anything I need her to do as long as I don't get her hurt.

300.00 apiece picked up here, i will work with you to try to get them closer to you if i can, thanks

p.j.

That spotted pup is sure a cutie. You know, I need a dog but with your bloodlines and all, it would be wasted on me, as a pet - companion. Do they make good house pets, housebroken easily, etc.?

Good hunting. El Bee

edit: what are the chances these pups will grow up to weigh between 23 and 31 pounds? Somehow, I can't see the paws in any of the photos?

lb, its hard to say on the size, their crossed up enough that one could turn out bigger every once in awhile. the mom lives in our house and has since she was a pup, she's smart as a whip. all of mine are pets, I got a 7 yr old boy that thinks they are all his brothers and sisters, give me a call tomorrow and we will talk

Happy it worked out for ya. I don't know if I'm ready for a dog, just yet, but when I do decide, I's sure like a spotted pup like that one.

Good hunting. El Bee

I wanted that spotted pup something awful but I know I could not give one enough time right now.

Tom, that's just about how I feel. The thing is, you know, I live alone. I drive out to Yucca Valley about once a week and stay for three days, usually, while I get needed "exercise", until I'm exhausted. How can I raise a pup, (fairly) under those conditions?

I've even looked at rescue animals. I know where to go if I ever need a mongrel pit bull.

If I wanted a black and Tan, I'd get a real Black and Tan. No, I just like the looks of that spotted pup. Then, when people ask what kind of dog it is, (like the old joke) I can say, well, it used to be an alligator before I cut the tail and painted spots on it.

Tom, you going to be able to break away from your training long enough to visit northern AZ?

Good hunting. El Bee

Leonard, I think I would like to but I can't plan nothing anymore. I'll give it a little more consideration.

We all love puppies, lets be honest they're the shits @ times. [Wink]

Our loving (canine) friend of almost 14 years passed @ the end of May. The wife went out 5 days later and got a pup. WOW !! I forgot how much work they are and how much attention they deserve.

All that being said, now this little guy, is really turning around, he's about 5 1/2 months old now. The 1st few months as we all know are the worst. In the long run our DOG friends, are great friends. Ya just gotta' prepare yourself for some trying times.. [Big Grin]
