....Or How To Speak Minni-Soda-ian Like A Native. (Eh?)

This was another DVD that Tim sent and was watched with English subtitles.
They were calling Red Fox in Danemark & such places with mouth calls in daylight.
Red Fox are not my strong suit, but I enjoyed this video and could find nothing to disagree with. Ulf Lindroth seems to know his fox and presents information in a laid-back way without being braggadocious.
The only question I had was in Scen 10 when he was demonstrating a call, it appeared that he had a fingernail emery board on his lanyard. Would have loved to know more about that.
The Rottumtaler Renblatter call was pretty cool, too. Neat design.
If Red Fox are your thing, you could do worse that spend coin on this DVD. (Eh?)

I think Sweden is perhaps the only other country where they hunt critters anything like we do here. When i was in Africa, i had some of the locals enthralled with my small assortment of Uncle Jay's Rhino Calls. In fact, I left a few behind, as well as a small bottle of Magic Mist. The eastern US is only slightly ahead of the curve. LB

I had the pleasure of having Ulf spend a short week staying at the McNeal headquarters.
I was lucky, and put several coyotes in front of him, and the man is a shooter for sure. Knows his quarry, and his rifles. I let him use my .17 Rem for all he brought was a shotgun, and he was mightily impressed with its performance.
He was here in the US pursuing our three species of quail; said he was on a quest to hunt every species of grouse/quail on the planet?
He sent me a copy of the video when he returned to Sweden, was very good, but I don't speak or understand Swede and had to rely on context.

Glad you liked it Koko. The vid. you watched is one of Ulf latest vid. he has out. Also his tactics work well here in my part of the country when it comes to calling red fox....
