Okay, I will admittedly say I dont have the time to check in here every day to see who is pissing in whos cheerios or whatever. I would like to know what the deal is with everyone ganging up on the MFK guys? Cocky bunch of guys ribbing everyone including themselves (eachother), SURE, EVERY call maker thinks their product is the best out there. Otherwise what the hell is the point of making your calls. . . to be the worst call on the market - i dont think so. Is there a lot of promoting done by the guys on the staff. .. YES THERE IS. But look at foxpro, I think EVERY show out there is sponsored by foxpro. Does their call work, yup. is it the best? if you ask them, yes. if you ask any of the other e-caller companies. . . nope. Do all of them have success, yup. Heck, Lonehowl makes calls, do they work, yes. Weasel makes calls, do they work, yup - i have one, nice one made from cocobolo wood.
WHY the hell is it that we, a collective group of predator callers / hunters cant be a united front and help promote each other AND the sport instead of having these BULLSHIT pissing matches on an internet forum where guys can show off their internet muscles. we have BIGGER ASSHOLES to fight, like PETA and the humane society.
I can smash keys on a keyboard as hard as any. Am I guilty of going off the handle once or twice at a guy, sure - who hasnt. but one thing is for damn sure, I WOULD say the same damn thing in person right to their face! and have done it. but the best part is that most of the time the guys that have the biggest hard on for a fight with each other on a forum usually have a mutual respect when they meet face to face and the words are then exchanged. Im not talking knock down drag out fight bullshit either. If you cut out the internet no sarcasm, no "joking" part of reading some words typed out on a screen, most guys are probably pretty good down to earth guys that when faced with a challege, most will step up and defend themselves. Im simply saying there is a lot of shit talking by everyone here and on several other forums. How about instead of being an internet hardass, and "fuck you", "no fuck you", "no no you fucking fuck, fuck you" STOP BEING A BUNCH OF FUCKING PANSY ASS PUSSIES! Stop talking about whos dick swings farther and whos is shorter. GO OUT AND HAVE A BEER WITH EACH OTHER and SHUT THE FUCK UP! get back to hunting, for fuck sake. . . this is a hunting forum after all.

Foxpro doesn't come in here thumping their chest, weasel doesn't come in here thumping his chest, mark posts a call or two a year. Mark doesn't brag about his calling ability and making his calls sing and proclaim he's the next coming. That's the difference.
Most ppl on here have been signed up for 8 years or longer and know one another on a personal basis. So, when some jack off comes in here, essentially, off the street, yelling and pounding their chest, they should expect to get kicked in the balls. End of story.

Chris, that might be. but myself, having NOT been here for 8 years, a fairly new member, comes on and sees all this personal attack bs going on, really doesnt make me want to post too much. There is a lot of information between the ears of guys that are on here that newbys to the sport could stand to learn. The antics may be a little bashing between friends, and thats all good, but as "an outsider" it looks like there is nothing but a bunch of blowhard assholes on the site. just my personal observation, thats all. I got no problem with blowhard assholes, except when a new guy comes on here and starts talking about either their success or has a question to get better at the sport and everyone jumps all over them bashing them enough that they dont come back again. I will be the first to admit that I dont know everything about predator hunting, but I put enough down every year that I could care less what most guys think. Some of the guys that put down 100-150 coyotes, yeah, theres some information there that Id like to learn cause they are obviously doing a whole lot of things right. my 20+ coyotes a year doesnt seem like a whole lot, but for as much as I travel for work, I think I do alright.
now, either way, I had a LONG night last night, and had to vent a little. Im glad I got that out of my system. Most of the MFK guys are easy to talk to and as helpful as can be. Jason gets a pretty hard bashing here, but is actually a really good guy, Ive talked to him several times, and even helped him get a boat load of money for his bobcat (regionally speaking of course). Torry is a great guy as well, he will help you as much as he can if you take the time to ask him and not jump on him for nothing. Red, well, Im really pretty good of friends with Red, and yeah, he is a smart ass. but his shenanigans are all in good fun. Jake, is about the nicest guy ever, runs coyotesunlimited. He is also a staff member. There are a handful that I havent met, but I am looking forward to meeting in Waco in a couple weeks. I am a staff member for MFK, so my opinion is a little lopsided. do I see some of yalls points, sure do. Is the name of the game to get the calls, company, and brand out there and in your face for call recognition, damn right it is. Its not the guys on this forum or many of the others that are being targeted. its the guys that are new to the sport looking to get in and be successful. its all about name recognition. just about every Tom, Dick, and/or Jim has heard of Foxpro. SO when they are willing to pony up a couple hundred bucks at the store, are they going to pick up a caller they have never even heard the name of before - hell no they arent. They go for the one they have heard of. Same thing goes for elections, thats why they have signs of every corner - NAME RECOGNITION. simple as that.
now, I hope we can get back to a civil hunting related conversation. I for one will help out with any questions and or information anyone has when it comes to the MFK calls, as I am sure Dave, or Jason might do as well. Ive met Weasel, had some dealings with Mark, and a few other guys on here, hopefully they will chime in and give their opinions. Im all for someone voicing their opinion, and Id like to hear them, but please, at least keep them civil.

Listen, Amigo. Your take on what went down with such a group of great fun loving guys is an opinion. My opinion is that I got super fed up with Red and his bullshit, and yanking my chain for no other reason than because he could. Jason? I got tired of his whining and the I's and me's and the focus on his shit.
So, we have heard the last of your ravings about the poor misunderstood MFK crew. Understood? I mean, just try me. For once my patience with these assholes has run out. And, don't be telling me I'm wrong and you and the boys is right. As far as I am concerned, your camaraderie bullshit is just about as twisted as possible. Who is this DesertGhost guy? I have never seen him on this board before. He comes here complaining about everyone being asshole's, and he strikes ME as acting worse than any member here has ever been guilty of. I have been watching the board for a while. I have posted a little here and there. Leonard, im not trying to be an asshole about everything. I wanted to voice my opinion, i did that. Now im done. I will go back to lurking and posting every now and then. Like i said, there is a lot of information to be had from the guys on this forum. I understand where you are coming from, hopefully you can see the same from my point of view.

Bullshit! I don't believe the calls I make are "the best" or anything like that.
A call, any call, made by any call maker, is only as good as the caller using it!

Because I enjoy making calls. Duh!
And, as a matter of FACT, I hate selling them.
I've given away a lot of calls, so that they can have good homes, and so that I didn't have to deal with selling them.
I've donated a good many calls to contests and forum give-aways for no other reason than to help the sport.
I've never accused anyone of copying anyone else, and I've almost always defended those accused of it by other call makers. There's nothing new under the sun.
I consider pretty much all other call makers as comrades (unless they're assholes), not as competition.
And I have never ever put sales above good solid advice, as it relates to calls of any type or make.
When you MFK mother fuckers can say that, you can tell me what's up ...until then, DesertGhost, you can fuck off. ![[Mad]](mad.gif)

I commend you for your donation of calls to help further the sport. Before you go bashing me about giving MFK calls away, i have given several calls away to youth hunts as prizes and in other donation type give aways. Do i want or need recognition for that, no. I could care less. Am i glad to hear others are doing similarly, yes i am!
Now i do understand where you are coming from in regards to your opinions about some of the going ons with the MFK team.
You mentioned about guys saying other guys stole designs or something. I have no idea what that means. If youd like to take a little time and pm me the details id like to know about it.
As for the sales above good solid advice, we are more alike in that aspect than you think. Ive turned additional call sales to an individual down because he didnt really need the extra call and went on to show him how to get the same sound from his original call.

And you guys act like everyone can even use diaphragm calls... me. personally, I'd be pissed if I "won" one of your calls, being as how I can't A. fit a standard sized one in my mouth or B. use one without gagging.
