The rains finally stopped and I did'nt have much going on so I grabbed the caller and vid. cam and headed out for some coyotes..
awhile back I won a snow gilly suite and the wife thought it looked cool so she got me another one for Christmas that was tan in color.. So anyway I thought I would try it out and get it on vid. to see how I blended in on my stands. On the way out I drove by a slough (wet land)and saw some coon sign so i stopped and turned the caller on to see if any coon where hungry. About a minute went by and I saw one standing up on it hind legs trying to get a look-see so I turned the caller back on and here it came.. As you can see i was'nt ready with the Cam. but did get a little footage of it anyway..

I headed over to the father in-laws CRP and made another stand. No coyotes showed but I did get a pair of Canada geese to fly over and then land out in a nearbye field. I played the caller and then paused for a bit and then played it some more. I noticed the geese where takeing interest in the prey distress sounds I was playing so I kept at it to see how close they would come..LOL

When you seniors talk about "a little action" I assumed you were referring to a bowel movement?

How were the geese?

Good hunting. El Bee

'Curiousity killed the cat' and maybe geese.Neat stuff. Also saw the pheasants fly by.Thanks.
On the other tape I noticed how your call stuck out.Ghillie fine, call not so much.
Played around quite a bit with Ghillies in and out of the service.Still use one once in awhile bowhunting-on the ground only.
Plays a more important role fooling humans than it does critters IMO.Might, just might, let you get away with a bit more 'movement' but...who knows?
