I guess while you boys are discussing cops, global warming, and who hurt who's feeler's some of us are out killing critters. I'm trying not to kill too many this time of year as fur looks to be worth something this year. However I do have a rancher friend or two that want'em dead and want'em dead now. So here's a few recent photos to remind y'all what really gets us going. Not too bad for a John Denver look-a-like eh.

I agree with Koko; you do look a lot more alive than John D.. The coyotes look dead though and pretty well furred out for this time of year. The ones I have killed in the past two weeks all seem to be furred out way ahead of time, considering how friggin' hot it has been down here in old Kaintucky. It was in the high 90's today and humid as hell.

Kudos to you Ursus21 on some nice kills and good pictures. Thanks for sharing.

I've been wanting to get out and hunt too, but it's too early still, for me. It was 104F here the last few days. Ticks, chiggers, and skeeters, too early.

good going Troy..I suspect you're going to have a killer season this winter if the snow don't get too deep..

I just walked in the door from Yuma. 118° today, 112 yesterday.

Way to go, JD. That last one is a hog!

Paul, but you guys do have grey fox and bobcats in the dez, both of which I'd love to have a crack at.

TR, yup it's looking like it will be a very good year as long as the snow doesn't pile up too deep.

You guys in all that 100+ degree weather, I don't know how you do it. I'd melt like Frosty the Snowman.
