I thought I would share a few photos from the season. Had plenty of time to hunt and took full advantage of it. When it comes time for me to take-up the rocking chair, I am not going to be thinking should have done this or that.
More than likely, I will be flat-ass broke, but my mind will be full of memories and my heart full of friends.

Just can't have too many good memories. I took some pretty good ones out of a motel parking lot in west Texas this year. Sure wish somebody would have been quicker with the camera though.

I have the exact same philosophy. When I check out, I won't be wishing I did a few things when I had the chance. I made the time and did what I enjoy and won't have any regrets, when the time comes. I'll tell you one thing, the memories actually are priceless.

yep the AR sight in target was classic for sure. I think that it was pointed more at Big George, but funny just the same. Next campout LB lets do a mag dump and smoke a cigar...what say you?

Thanks LB I don't know R. Shaw that well but i did think he was going with the Fox Pro CS-24 these days.I spoke a few words to him at one of the campouts.
Edit to add not sure about any lion photos. But A guy here in Vegas put a tag on one around the first of the year. He got his down around searchlight Nevada.His handle is Motto66. Also the same guy just won a coyote hunt in Arizona with six coyotes. The arizona hunt was around Fortrock and Kingman Arizona.It's just nice to see some one from Vegas make a showing is all.So any way not all the predator callers out of vegas are dipsticks. I my self Have not been out much at this year.I think my rear end is growing to this couch.
I have made my secound trip to Carson City Nevada One of my girls lives there now days.And I hope to do some callig over around there one day.We were in North lake Taho on your side of the line to get alittle bite to eat.In fact I like the place just fine. any on the way home I saw a coyote right there in town.These guys live on the edgge of Carson City and real close to the river the sage grows right up to the yard. I have a nine year old granson there that has his on predator call. He's strating to get the hang of it alittle.

I think not Searchlight, probably the New York Mountains a little west of Ivanpah. There are mule deer and that means lions, too. I never seen one there, killed a few short tailed cats in the area, but, no doubt, it holds a few lions. Anyway, the odds are that you won't see too many lions right around searchlight. Your Senator, Harry Reid is from Searchlight, a crummy little crossroads if there ever was one? Hunting's not too bad around there but the coyotes have heard it all.

I have been over around Ivanpah and have made two camp outs at a camp ground name of Midhills.I kinda know where the Newyork moutains are.Now when I say camp out I mean just for the fun of and not an event.I can't hunt in Cal.I did ride my Klr 750 from the river near the Avi a hotel casino in the lower part of Nevada. Any way I rode the old amy road over to the old dry lake bed near I-15 near.It well could have been killed in the area you point out.I do know there are some big horn sheep down around the searchlite aera.And true about it being just awide spot in the road. I do like the little town ony because it's once was an old mining town. And there are still a few old head frames over a few of the old mines.
Hey i made a post over in the calls and gear slot i was looking for some info on afew CD,s I might buy But to sure if any found it yet.
