Howdy, long time lurker and finally signed up guy here.
I'm not trying to start a new e-caller "A" vs. e-caller "B" saga here, there are aleady plenty of those on the boards. I will admit that I'm a FoxPro user, though.
Overall, FP has some pretty good distress calls, some of the coyote vocalizations are excellent, but a few sound like a rooster crowing in a box. Please keep in mind that I haven't downloaded any new FP coyote sounds for probably 2 years (or more).
I am in the understanding that FP has come out with some new coyote vocals, maybe Cal Taylor recordings? Cal, if you are reading this, what FP coyote vocalizations are you high on right now? Anybody else familiar is welcome to also answer.
Again, not trying to start a pissing match, just trying to better my game

Wow, that was quick! I just approved your application about ten minutes ago?
Welcome to The New HuntmastersBBS.com, Sage Buster. Glad to have you on board.
My guess is that there are a number of sounds made available, within the last two years.
Dave, if you see this, please email me the number of that extra special sound of yours so I can include it before they ship my CS24L. Appreciate.
Good hunting. LB

Leonard, thanks for having me and thanks for making this site available.
Many of the other sites have turned lame, may I say "Gay"? Huntmasters has it's share of infighting, but at least you don't have the backroom shenanigans that have divided, but not CONQUERED the world of internet predator calling sites
But, I digress. Back to these new FP sounds, I've heard the samples online but that voice over doesn't help. I also received a demonstration of some of the WT coyote vocals and was impressed. [ September 12, 2010, 07:31 PM: Message edited by: Sage Buster ]

Leonard, I call it "Greatest Hits". But it's not, nor will it ever be, available.
The quality of some parts isn't up to snuff, for one thing. It wouldn't fly as part of the Foxpro library, too much "noise". And it's mine, nobody else has it, and I like it like that, for another .

In the current spirit of "redistribution" in this country, whats Daves is ours.So...I expect that sound to be spread among us less fortunate souls. Dont make me call Acorn Dave,... or the ACLU, or Jesse Jackson or...well whoever! Ill find someone to call Dammit..where Lonnie when I need backup! Wow, for a site supposedly known for serious and successful hunters, many which use FoxPro callers, all I'm hearing is crickets chirping.
Don't tell me this board is like all the others?!?!?

"Don't tell me this board is like all of the others."
I would think that a long time lurker around here would know that that comment isn't worth a response. ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif)

Sage Buster, Sorry about the crickets, I haven't been around for a few days. Almost all of the coyote vocals that FP has are stuff that I recorded and the stuff that has been released is all useful in one way or another. I use it all at different times depending on the situation. I'm not sure what else to tell you about favorites. I don't have one or two "go to" sounds, I vary my calling alot from day to day and to what kind of coyotes I think I am dealing with at a particular location.

sage buster spend the few bucks and get all the newer coyote vocals you don't have! They are a great price for the quality and what they can do for you on a calling stand.
As Cal stated some are better at different times of the year but you should find a use for most of them either calling or locating coyotes.
