Needs a break from the kids now and then. Caught this guy napping on the seat of my Ranger this afternoon. The rest of the family was over the hill in the wash at the den site.

Where's Waldo...I mean Lonny?
edit: You know, it makes a lot of sense when I think about it. There must be a whole lot of scent from lures and bait, the entire rig probably reeks of it? Why wouldn't a fox be attracted to it? Where's your dogs, anyway?
PS what is that orange tape for? [ July 27, 2010, 11:10 AM: Message edited by: Leonard ]

Orange strap is a rachet strap. Ranger is setting on a trailer in the front yard. He watched me take a bag of trash out to the dumpster....eyeballing me the whole time. Literally 10 feet from him, yet didnt try to leave and we never made eye contact untill 10 to 15 minutes had gone by. I went back in house, got the wife, and she was able to see him up close as well. While i got the camera out of the truck, he went back to dozing, as the pic shows. When I got done, I shut the truck door and he looked up, we made eye contact, and off he went!

Be sure to set a plate for him, like I do for Rocky, who, by the way will eat damned near anything.

I'm looking forward to Elbee's pic of him and Rocky, crashed together on the sofa, sharing a bag of pork rinds and Miller Lites, watching TV, all bathed in that sudued blue hue of the late night tube. Hell, they'll probably be spoonin', they've become so close.
