We would like to introduce Garrett Cook the 2009 Youth Hunter of the Year Winner.
Garrett live in Idaho Falls with his Dad, Jeff Cook. Garrett is 13 years old. Garrett is a beginner calling coyotes with his Dad.
Garrett and Jeff hunted with Prez Kevin Lukens during the Kick-Off of the 1st GSPHA Eastern Idaho Chapter Fun Hunt.
Kevin called a coyote, and Garrett got to shoot at it twice, but he missed both shots, better luck next time Garrett.
In the pictures you will see Prez Kevin awarding Garrett the 2009 Youth Hunter of the Year Trophy, along with the trophy, Garrett also received a Foxpro FX3 eCaller that was donated by Mike Dillon the owner of Foxpro Game Calls.
We at GSPHA would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to Mike Dillon and Foxpro for making this great young man very happy.
Garrett is so hooked on coyote calling. Garrett and his dad joined our forum and has since asked many questions of Kevin and myself. I have never seen a young man so interested in calling as this one is. He is and will be a great asset for the club in the near future.
