This was/is a good bobcat. It fell down right where it was shot. Not like some of those bad coyotes that run off a few yards.
I'm starting to really like this AZ desert hunting. I got this one Friday, near that Dirk Digler fellas home.
Here's a belly shot

Thanks guys, this season has been a hoot. I got to meet a new bunch of guys at Pauls place, and have some fun to boot calling in some animals.
Vic, I got that one Friday on the south side of Gleeson Rd. (I think that is what it's called) It actually is bigger than it looks. It weighed in at 25.5 on my digital fishing scale. I was glad we were able to shoot the breeze a little. I am pretty sure you made those guys day putting 6 coyotes in front of 'em.
Fred, this has been a good/lucky season for me. I got the three out there, and one back home here. Got another one scouted here, but it's a "bad" cat, it only shows itself briefly and won't let me take a shot. I'm hoping my luck doesn't run out. Well damn. A week ago today, Vic and I happened to be driving down Gleeson, and I pointed out to him, one of my favorite cat spots just to the south.
Did you get the other one there, or should I go back for him?

Tim, Only took one off Gleeson. My brother saw one on the north side of the blacktop, but didn't get a shot. So I'm guessing it's still there.

Tim, have you taken leave of your senses? You don't point out your favorite cat spot to anyone, especially Vic. I'm sure he would honor it, but still. And, this is the world wide web, you know?
Good hunting. LB

Robert, I'm just a city boy in Missouri. I like hunting AZ as much as I can though. I have much more success there. [ January 29, 2008, 01:53 PM: Message edited by: DanS ]
