Called in this big guy the other day. Farmer said he saw a "wolf looking thing" in his back field one night and he wanted it gone. My friend and I set up about 75 yards apart, I did one lone howl and he was coming in to get down wind of me when my friend shot him in the chest with a .243, no exit hole. It's the biggest one I've ever seen around here.

No Rich, didn't think about that, I just figured it was a bigger that average coyote....
I will post the other pics when I get my camera back, I have some "in the field" shots but I left the camera at our hunting cabin. This pic was taken after we got home....

I don't think PA game commission would have done any test. Maybe a university my have been interested. maybe one as a ongoing study about PA coyotes.
I would say it's 100% coyote, there are many taken over 50lb each year.
