Night hunting season starts at midnight, squealing to commence soon thereafter.

The blind leading the blind, in the dark... this oughta be typically epic. [Wink]

go out and have fun. Life is a learning experience, and you only have one, so learn when you can.

Typically epic...

Red never showed up, so we don't have to go hunt in a thundershower.

Inspiration can be so easily washed away.

I am ready, lets go!

Maybe passing through the big city this weekend, buy me a cup of coffee?

Norm,

There's days out there I wonder if I am too stupid to learn, I'm sure there's days in here when you guys do to. [Wink]

Crow Woman,

I've night hunted before, I don't like it.

I was sick as a dog all last week, I missed the grouse/dove opener, I was finally out of bed and I was desperate to just get out of the house.

The day had this "charged up" feeling, it turned out to be the surprise in the weather... not some mojo brewing inside me. [Razz]

*I got into a bee hive last weekend, bear calling, and got stung 20-30 times. Tromped around in a cold mountain swamp/meadow (mosquitoes), and hiked a few miles of bear trails (above 5000' which always give me dry hoarse mountain climber throat) between berry patches in shorts and sandals (scratches), with Red (who told me halfway through the ride up there his boy was sick)... by Thursday night I was praying I would just die.

We went bear hunting/grouse scouting on a whim, the range was a zoo, and we didn't want to wait in line for a bench... that's why I wasn't dressed for it.

Ohhhh, the blueberries (and the scenery) were soooooooo good.

Typically epic. [Big Grin]

Otto,

Yeah buddy! Let's do go.

I'm down for coffee, let me know when and what neighborhood you'll be in.

I think I still have the pm with your ph# saved on the H-W.com site.

WOW Krusty... now THAT'S an adventure... lol... that I never want to take. That many bee stings and I would be dead sure enough. Sure glad you got some blueberries amd scenery out of the deal.
[Cool]

Yeah, with a few donated buckskins, you could pass for Jeramiah Johnson. Keep strokin' that beaver.

Good hunting. LB
