Howdy! Just wanted to drop a quick post to introduce myself.
I'm currently living in the Torrance (Los Angeles) area of Southern Cal. but hope to move to the Riverside area soon. I used to hunt yotes, cats, and other moving targets about 20 years ago in Colorado with my uncle. Lost touch with it for awhile but I'm anxious to get back into the groove. Just a warning: I'll probably be posting my fair share of stupid questions. So, thanks for your paitnce.
And now? Let the Newbie jokes begin...

How far will a Gibson shoot an arrow Mr. Nugent?
P.S. Damned fine wife and daughter you've got there by the way.

Okay, perfect. I KNEW you guys were going to be a good bunch!! Ha! Ha! If I had Ted Nugent's funds and resources... Oh, how the mind wanders with such fantasies.
Thanks for the warm welcomes!! I'm going to try my hand at a California pred hunt late this week or maybe the weekend. Thought I'd go by myself to refresh some skills before I embarrass myself with a local club.
Recently had my dad send me all of my old stuff so we'll see how it goes.
I'll report back as soon as I have something to report.
PS -- For those in So Cal: When is the date that the local clubs quit taking yotes for the year? I know it's sometime in Frebruary. I don't want to violate any club agreements before I even get the chance to get into a club.

Usually, the last sponsered club hunts are in February...but don't worry about it, go have fun whenever you feel like it. Observing denning season has never applied to individual members, just Club Events. Personal choice.
Good hunting. LB
