Well, yeah. Our CA "moratorium" on lions, just for census purposes, is now over thirty years and shows no sign of ever being lifted; abundant evidence to the contrary.

These are emotional bunny hugger issues, and those type of people are not rational; besides being dishonest and accomplished liars.

These is no reason why we couldn't hunt surplus wolves, but it will probably end up like here....

Hired houndsmen now kill far more lions under depredation permits than sportsmen ever did. But, that's okay with the friggin' antis. At least it needs doing, but sport hunters don't get their thrill killing. What's a few people eaten by lions that have lost their fear of man? A fair price, according to these idiots.

I foresee a parallel situation with wolves.

Good hunting. LB

I can't seem to drag anything over here for some reason.
Google for -associate press wolf delisting- ,plug on the second one -that's the info i read.

I says it's the feds that are doing it -not the states asking the feds.Take a look.Mike

Hi. I'm a newbie. I admit it so go ahead and get your laughs at me now. Just was reading this note on wolves and thought I'd drop my two cents worth-- which is probably literally worth about two cents. [Smile]

My guess is that they'll be delisted but that the states won't allow much, if any ,hunting for fear that the feds will put them back on the list. Especially in The Republic of Oregon!!!!

I can see the Oregon newspaper headline now. "State allows wolves to be slaughtered after being innocently lured to their deaths by fake howls." Ha! Ha!

Don't hold your breath on booking any wolf hunts in 2007. [Roll Eyes]
