I went hunting with Mule over the weekend. Saturday started out breezy and escalated into hurricane force by Sunday. On our last stand I looked over and Mule was holding his hat on with one hand and fighting off tumbleweeds with the other. I guess thats an indicator of a die hard coyote hunter. He sure knows how set up a stand. He called this big male into my lap on Saturday.

Been a while, Doug. January, 2005, to be exact. Did you move to Colorado, or what?

Good hunting. LB

Damn Doug, good to see you back on the board!

Rich, no thats 3 for Colorado dogs for Doug.
Couple years ago, the first time we hunted together we called 3 one saturday and we each killed one.

Then we got blown out by the wind

Last month we called 3 and doug shot one.
Probably would have done better and the weather was great then I got the truck stuck. [Roll Eyes]

Once Doug gets all settled I bet he'll rack up a bunch more.

Once I get this new puter figured out I'll post some pics of our other hunts.

I need some good pic hosting thats easy to use cuz I'm computer illiterate...anyone got any suggestions?

What? If you are computer illiterate, who's been posting all the boobies for you?

Mule; I use Kodak easey share and photo bucket. Wife got it set up for me and its pretty simple to use. With kodak easey share you can clean up the pic.s if they dont come out to good.

Thanks for the welcome fellas. I went thru some rough damn times the past 2 years with childrens hospitals and job troubles. I seem to have landed on my feet here in Colorado and I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Me and the family lived in a motorhome for a few months before we moved into a house here on the edge of the grasslands. This Colorado hunting aint too bad, but I do have a bit to learn yet, and I'm afraid I may be a little under gunned for these big grassland coyotes. The guy I was hunting with over the weekend calls his 7mm mag a fur gun. [Wink]
