Topic: one last hunt until fall

went down to south centeral kansas this weekend to do some hog hunting and calling the hogs played hard to get but the predator calling was pretty good.
hunted about a day and a half, 11 or 12 stands and we ended up calling 4 yotes and 3 cats.
shot 3 of the yotes,had to let the cats walk which is very hard to get my GUN to do. (it has a mind of its own)
i don't know if it was just the way things fell into place but when ever i ran the howler on stand we saw a yote and when i went with distress sounds only here the cats come .
here is a pic of one that we shot. (my buddies first called coyote)

steve had a good time. the pic is of marty who is also lives in topeka but grew up in bennington.

I'll check back for it. Glad to hear you had fun, even if the hogs didn't work out again this year.
