I was reading the East vs. West debate and thought I would post a pic of a coyote I called a few weeks ago.
I agree with the one gentleman that said he gets a little intimidated by posting on this site. I ussually just come here to read and learn.
Anyways, This coyote came to a distress call. I was on stand for 45 minutes before he came in. I shot him at 25 yards using #4 buck.
Here he is, 45lbs......

Thanks for sharing, lungbuster.
I certainly don't mean to put you on the spot, but I'd like to have a clearer understanding about what you mean. In what way would you feel intimidated, and how can we help?
Good hunting. LB

Lungbuster, I have a crappy monitor, what are those tracks heading off of your right foot?
You've got a pic of a coyote, I'd be proud of it!

Joe,
I guess lungbuster will have to answer the question you posed but...Just out of curiosity...
Has anyone ever seen a jack rabbit taking off on its hind legs several leaps before it takes to running. I have, it was the darndest thing I ever saw!!!!

Looks like squirrel tracks to me.

The tracks are probably house cat. The pic was taken in my back yard.
Leonard,
The intimidation comes from all the experience on this board. No offense meant. If I couldn't handle it I wouldn't keep coming here to read. But I sometimes feel like a waterhead at a physics convention when you guys are talking about certain coyote behaviors that I don't understand. But Mr. Higgins has always answered my emails with any questions that a dumb easterner has had.
No reason to change anything Leonard, I appreciate the opportunity to utilize this board. Thanks.
And Thanks Rich.
