Would it behoove me to save up a great area about a jillion miles away from St. Francis? Okay, its not exactly a jillion miles miles away but it is rarely hunted and off limits until Jan. 1 because of a hunting lease. I haven't hunted this area in a bout 3 years and I'm chopping at the bit. Last time in this area I'd called in 4 shootables before lunch time.

Loco,
Good luck. If I can, I'm going to try and make Sunday check-in so I can do the meet and greet with a few of the locals here. Hope to see you in the money.

how far away is the ground? We hunt about 3 hrs away from st.Francis so that puts you at a slight disadvantage but we still manage to do fairly well.

I'll be in St. Francis with Brent Rueb and his team. I'll be wearing a Wall's hooded raincoat, Sunshine Sub-contractors hooded sweatshirt with a PREDATR call and a Canon lens cover in the pocket. I'll be warm and dry with a big grin. Look me up, Danny.

cdog; I do hope you can make it to the contest on sunday, it will be great to meet you!! We still need to get together and put some fur on the ground. A couple of Ks. boys, ammo, guns, calls, and a bunch of coyotes?......Sounds like a good time to me!!!!

WOOOO HOOOOO. TR likes to hunt with a machine gun and a fully auto shotgun. I can't hardly wait. Now, if I can just keep mamma from giving birth until after the hunt. We are gonna have a home birth with #5 and the critter is due Jan. 20. Does anyone have a satellite phone I can borrow? ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

We're still in the process of finding places to hunt so Cenny Burnell and I may be there also. Hope to see you guys there. We are heading to Elko next Tuesday or so to scout for a day or two before the world hunt. If that goes well we'll probably be at St. Francis. Both St. Francis and Elko are new to us so we may be in for a schooling, but you gotta start somewhere.

Jeremy; I have not heard where the world will be held next year? but there is a wide variety of terrain to hunt around the four courners area! And there are plenty of coyotes as well. The St. Francis hunt is coming to gether quite well, contestants entering daily.
