The farm has finally let loose of me so I can sneak out one day a week so I tried to put Heather on some coyotes. On our approach to our first stand of the day we saw this guy. We sat still and watched him get closer. He got to this point and could hear the shutter on the camera, and bolted shortly after this shot was taken.
Our next stand we brought up a double both escaped unscathed but I managed to get this one captured with my Cannon.
all in all a good day.

I love both shots! That second is so typical of northern Nevada; wish I had a nickle for every coyote I saw along the fenceline.
Good hunting. LB

Bryan,
Nice bull. Wish I had a few more of them around here to hunt. Have a few, but not enough.
Did you shoot any coyotes or were you just taking pictures?
Some of you other guys oughtta know that Bryan here is now a published freelance photographer, since the decoys article in the Predator Hunting Special Edition included one of his pics - the one with the broadside coyote in mid-stride. Nice pic.

Glad you guys liked them.
Lance, I didn’t know that was in there. Now I understand why the places that had it last year don’t have it this year.
