2nd Annual Southeastern Oklahoma Predator Calling Contest :January 22nd, 2005
Format & Rules
1.--- One-day contest: 1,2 or 3 person teams----$25.00 per person (paid on or before Jan. 21st)
2. Call in Time starts at 5:00 a.m…. Deadline check in at 7:45 p.m. Teams that don’t call in and/or miss deadline are disqualified!
3. Once entry fee is paid, teams will receive start packet. At call in, teams will get instructions on how to open the start packet. DO NOT OPEN UNTIL AFTER CALL In.
4 Scoring System: Coyotes=8 points, Bobcats= 10 points, Fox= 5 points.
Most total points wins. 3 places will be paid, and 4th will be paid if over 30 entries.
Payout breakdown: 10% of total kept for advertising cost and supplies
29 teams or less: 1st=45%, 2nd=35% 3rd=20%
30 teams or more: 1st=45%, 2nd=30% 3rd=15% 4th=10%
Jackpots: Big dog $10/team, Big Cat $10/team 100% payback to winner…
Rifle raffle $10 per individual
5. This is a calling contest : Absolutely no baiting of any kind. No exchanges, no road-kill, no spotlighting, no prior killed animals…basically, no cheating.
6. All animals checked in and will be evaluated by qualified personal for body temperature results, snaring, trapping, poisoning, baiting, or any other illegal means. Any animal suspected illegally taken will result in a disqualification of team.
7. Any team ties will be broke by total weight.
8. Team members must travel together in same vehicle and call in same general location.
9. Cash awards to be presented following deadline of check in.
10. All contestants must follow Oklahoma hunting regulations.
