I got the wife a new scanner for her Birthday, and today I got some pictures back that I took on the trapline a couple of weeks ago that I thought I'd share.

 -

This next one thought he should be in the circus. I wish I could have caught him doing one of his flips, but he'd jump up and flip, faster than I could raise the camera.

 -

This is a double that I finally remember to get the camera out for. The second coyote is right above the first one's butt.
 -

I'd always stop by the local windmills to do my skinning. In the last four years, I think I've skinned a coyote on 75% of the windmills in this valley. [Big Grin]
 -

And Vic even has some fond memories of that Water tank. Care to share them Vic?

And yes, sometimes I take pictures of things when I don't know quite what they are.

 -

I know it's a pile of poop, but what kind of critter pooped it?

Looks like you're doing okay. Quite a variation in color.

If you had not said what the last picture was, I'd have guessed a ripped oil pan.

Good hunting. LB

I guess Leonard limits the number of pictures per post. Here's two more coyotes.

 -

This one is my favorite. He's a little coyote I caught up on the side of a mountain in a bobcat set. I wouldn't have bet there was a coyote with in five miles of that set, till I found him the next morning!

Does that I dunno-what-it-is picture have something to do with Vic and the Windmill story?

Understanding the coyote is not as important as knowing where they are.
I usually let the fur prime up before I leave 'em lay.

Tim,

Great photos, thanks for sharing.

Looks like you've expanded your line to more than just the two traps? [Smile]

Jay,

There is no relationship between those two pictures. At least not yet. [Wink]

I had made a bobcat set along the side of a sandy wash. Nothing worked the set in the four days it was out, until I came to pull the trap, and found that big pile of poop next to it.
