This is kind of in line with the whole discussion/debate about whether an electronic caller with superior audio specifications and capabilities can call more coyotes than a speaker glued into a flashlight.
I've seen mention of calling coyotes with a kazoo or other interesting things.
What's the most unusual call or sound you've called a coyote with?
I'll start with a funny example.
I was on a lonely highway in New Mexico several years ago and stopped at a rest stop for, well, some rest. Or something. What I ended up getting was some poonie from a skank hanging around outside the coke machine. We took a little trip down a maintenance road or something down and back behind the rest stop. I got her bent over the tailgate of her little S10 pickup doin' the thing when I glance over and there's a coyote coming down the hill headed right for us. He held back at 40 yards or so for a few seconds, then took off.
Now, I consider than an unusual call sequence. Was it my huffing and puffing, was it the skin slapping, was it her slightly muted "uuuhhhn, uuuhhhnn's," or was it the squeaking of the suspension on her truck that brought that coyote in?
That's my story, anyone got another one?

TThat's one I have not had, but I have had dozens of similiar things happen, and the sound attracted the attention of a coyote, or two or three.
It's all curiosity attraction, some places have less risk, some, where the coyotes feel a little more secure. In some cases, it's in the ability of the coyote to read body language. Or to distinguish a rifle from a shovel.
Actually, it seems to me, that coyote may have been a casual observer to human fornicating at rest stops on many other occasions. Bor ring!
Woo hoo, can you imagine the coyote patrol around truck stops? They have seen it all.
Good hunting. LB

IMHO, I think sound had very little to do with that example. I sure smell was a much bigger factor.

Dennis most likely was referring to the aromatic condition of ole teabagger. Slappin' the sack against all his cronies chins, probably festers up a potent, odiferous stench south of the belt buckle. Poor lil' gurl was probably squealin' for air! Kind of like misting Leonard, ole wiley came in the backdoor(or was that Dunkin') and checked up at the call.

With the essence of eau 'de tuna wafting on the breeze, I'm surprised it wasn't a herd of 'possum that came down the hill to investigate.

I think you need to send some of these women to lotions and potions for some essence of vinegar.
