I lucked out and found a dead cow in the pasture yesterday. I went back out this morning and evening and called these two in. Thought I'd start a yote tree and see how many I can kill from the "bait". LOL

Good hunting. LB

Nice picture... look like they would look nice on the stretcher.

I’ll have to agree with Norm. Those coyotes would look a whole lot better on stretcher. Even those Texas coyotes are worth something this year. They averaged $16.27 at the NFA last year with $20.00 highs. This year the average should be about $20.00 or so.
Good hunting.

Norm, that is a new one on me... I guess it is a way to get a new line of furbuyers.
Thanks.

Norm, you didn't notice the huge holes in these yotes. Not enough thread to patch these up, or spare hide !!!! LOL

Yeah Ronnie, there's no overlap or bead . Looks like surgical stitching doesn't it?

Q, that is some fine sewing there... must of taken as long to sew as it did to skin.
What type of needle are you using? Find any thread material that works better than others. I have used dental floss and monofilament, but always looking for something better...
Again, Great Job.

If it took Q as long to sew it as it did skin it, it couldn't have taken more than a minute or two!!!

I've found the best "thread" for doing lifesize mounts on mammals like coyotes is 8# Spider Wire fishing line and a three-sided S-shaped needle available from taxidermy suppliers. Tat SPider Wire is a natural greenish brown and belnds righ in.
