Had a tad of a late start this morning but it turned out well. Started off using the Krusty call and had one come up real quick down wind. Brush was so thick I couldn't get a shot. I kept calling and looked to my left,,,movement. No yote but a big 11 pt. whitetail. I keep calling and a fat male dog sticks his head up out of the grass. Last mistake, the 22/6 puts him down quick. 2dn stand nothing. Third stand is down a pipline right of way,,,my favorite !! Go to singing a tune on the old Tally Ho and a big dog comes running out of the cactus quick about 30 yards from me. Not much challenge for the 22/6.
4th stand is down another right of way. Call for about 15 minutes with the TH and a dog comes from behind me and crosses the right of way to my left. Another yote down by the 22/6. This one was rather messy and I left him lay. In all I called in 5 yotes but still shooting 100%.

Yeah, that's a good question. Are you two timing that Purple 220 Swift?
Also, what is the cartridge, exactly? Do you mean a standard 6mmRemington necked to 22 caliber?
Thanks for the pic. Looks like good calling country.
Good hunting. LB

Yep, I heard the Swift banging on the safe door trying to get out. The 22/6mm is just that. A 6mm necked down to 22. I shoot a fast twist (7) barrel and use 75gr A-Maxes. Deadly for extreme long range shooting. Pretty destructive on a broadside shot too.
