I got out for a few hours this morning until the wind picked up to 30mph gusts. The weather is cooler but with it comes the wind. They are predicting wind for the next several days. It is early morning hunts or its nothing I guess. LOL

Good hunting.

Looks like the start of a real good season.

I like the color of those dogs, we have some that look like that in certain areas.

Good job, Q. & Good hunting. LB

Q, that is a fine set of coyotes taken.

You keep taking 4 or more coyotes each time you go out and you will have everyone moving from AZ and CA to Central NE;

Congratulations, Keep up the hard work

Well it's nice to know we aren't the only one's getting blown away.

The winds hit down here yesterday afternoon. That would have been fine on a weekday. But the weekend?

Bruce and I made a cat calling run this morning. One hand on the rifles, the other on our hats. Nearly got blown away and be no big surprise, we didn't see anything moving other than the cactus and a lot of sand.

Looks like you are getting the year off to a good start. Keep up the great work!

Thank you guys! I am doing well but mid February is still a loooong ways away. Hopefully my luck holds out and I can finish off with a decent kill this year. Last year started out great and I had a 100 down by December 1st but then everything went to hell. I had to many work obligations to meet so I couldn’t get out nearly as much as I would have liked. The wind was terrible towards the end of the season as well. I remember we had a run of 10 or so days in a row that the winds toped 20mph.

If things go like planned you guys will be sick of looking at my pics. LOL

Good hunting.

The wind has been screaming here for two days. I wanted to get out this weekend in a bad way, and even tried a couple stands yesterday, but it was blowing so bad I couldn't hear myself so there was no way to get a coyote to hear a call unless you were already standing on his tail. I'm headed south this week to do a little scouting for the Rawlins contest so I hope conditions improve. It's supposed to start snowing here on Wednesday and go on through Saturday, so this coming weekend may have to be set aside fo a little lion hunting. Good job as usual Q.
