I posted this on another board, but thought you might like to see it here as well.

I got my new remote for my Foxpro call this week and decided to put it to the test. We made one stand this morning before work and called in two.
We walked out into the edge of a clearing and leaned up against a big oak with the call out in front about 20 yards, turned the call on playing the rabbit duet. Within 30 seconds a coyote came running by from my right. I shot him within a few feet of the call.
 -

I imediately switched to the coyote pup distress sounds and within 30 more seconds here come number two. -
He was hopping around though the weeds and grass and hard to get on. I was also concerned that jerry hadn't got any good footage of the first so I was holding fire. He got within inches of the call saw us, and gave us that UH OH look
 -
spun to leave and I missed him clean (twice [Roll Eyes] ). Dang sure wish I had taken my shotgun. The whole stand lasted only about a minute, but man it was fun. The new Foxpro remote was cool.
 -
Hope ya'll enjoy the pictures, we got some great footage. Thanks for running the camera Jerry.
 -

Good Hunting

Byron

Dadgum, Byron, that is a nice camera. Even your stills from video are nice and sharp. You seem to be having way too much fun.

Yeah, looks like he almost got away with your machine! Dang!

Uh oh, what's that suspicious looking green weed, behind you?

Thanks for sharing, Byron.

Good hunting. LB

PS
Before I forget, what exactly, is "new" about the remote?

Thanks guys,

Leonard, those are goat weeds (no whacky weed). They are everywhere here in East Texas this time of year.

The new remotes have longer reach, back lit LED read out for the different sounds, and also buttons to remotely control a decoy. The latest Foxpro calls have already been fitted with jacks that will accomodate the new decoy (coming soon).
