I've recently migrated to medicare part A and part B. I also picked up a medigap plan G and a Part D drug plan. I've been on testosterone hormone replacement therapy, HRT, for about five years now. Medicare does not pay for any hormone therapy for either men or women. HOWEVER, they do pay for hormone therapy for ITS. By ITS I mean transgenders. Medicare will pay for both the surgery and the HRT if you are an IT. WTF

Just wanted to vent.

Hmm? I get what you are saying. We could go on all day long in the same vein. There are lots going wrong in this country and if I could point my finger in one direction, getting rid of Liberals would be a step in the right direction. Them bastards are pretty worthless!

I take a hormone prescription due to a toasted thyroid from radiation, Medicare and my supplement ins. pay for most of it , a ninety day supply costs me three dollars. On a better note one of my debt holders wrote off over 600k in surgery bills and sent back a refund for my last payment , they took the write down instead of collecting my very steady 20 bucks a month guess they figured out how old I am LOL

I can see why they pay for your hormones because of your radiated thyroid. The throid gland is an important gland that helps regulate the body during its natural lifetime. What Medicare won't pay for are Testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone. These hormones have a natural decline as one gets older. They also don't pay for the blood work to help you maintain the normal levels of a younger person. I guess they figure that it is a natural progression of life. But why do they pay for hormones and surgery for ITS/Transsexuals? Having one's dick turned inside out is NOT NATURAL.

I am also confused on the transgender thing that's elective surgery. That would be like paying for a nose job !

Two words: boner pills

I saw this yesterday and I'm still trying to figure out what Paul is getting at? Don't they already pay for nose jobs? A rhinoplasty isn't generally covered since it's elective surgery.

But anyway, "boner pills"? If you ask me, when they debated about coverage on frivolous medications, it was probably the females that voted in favor? Even the Lesbos understand the benefits of a good strapon.

I've even got some on stand by, for when I might need it. Do they expire? Paul?

Having prostate cancer made me an Ed expert on boner pills. A lot of men suffer from Ed but are afraid to talk about it. After going through what I did, I feel lucky that I can have a good hard erection that will last with just a simple pill. There is a site called GoodRx. on this site you will find the best prices at Nationwide Pharmacies like Walgreens. There are is no need to go offshore. You can purchase full-strength Viagra for less than a dollar a pill. You can also purchase Cialis for about $2 a pill. These are 100 mg viagra pills and 20 mg Cialis pills which are full-strength doses. As more generic manufacturers begin production, we will see the prices drop even further. The ed meds usually have about a one-year expiration date, and they usually last a good year after that. I purchased some of these new generic Viagra pills and they do not come in a shrink wrap type container. I left a few of my countertop in my bathroom and the moisture from warm showers caused them to dissolve. Keep these pills in a cool dry place if they're just loose in a bottle. Enjoy life. Working from phone please excuse any errors

Thanks, something else to worry about. Now I have to use them up before they lose potency? There goes $12 shot in the ass! (co pay)

What will happen if I decide to take a hand full and overdose, intending to die one last time of extreme boner? Could they close the lid on the coffin?

I have a phone consultation any minute now with an Anesthesiologist to go over reasons why I might need an epidermal injection. I had an earlier call from one of his nurses asking about the medications I take. Yes, to all listed.

Then, I have an actual physical next week in Fontana, I guess to see if I'm well enough and sick enough for the procedure. Of course, the actual reason is because they don't like how much drugs I take and they tried to cut me back 2 months ago by 50%, which didn't go over too good.

Considering all the possible side effects, it is a little intimidating, but at least they didn't list death as a possibility, so it must be rather safe?
