Topic: Anyone use the Coyote Light?

My brother and I have been getting into the night hunting and I got this light on the way. Wondering if anyone here has any experience with it? http://www.coyotelight.com/

Looks like a very good light, but the price is ridiculous.

I usually do my research before I order something that pricey!
I can say that I used a $39 Stanley led spotlight for one season and it worked very well with no battery issues!
I have also used the Kill light xlr250 and wicked 400 in green.
Wicked 400 won by a smudge! (Green)

Everything I have been able to find on it is good, just wondering if anyone has something they don't like about it besides the price. My brother has the wicked light and a cree headlight which is what we have been using. They are both white lights and I can't help but wonder if the red will work better as we have a lot of spotlighters cruising the roads.

I think I can answer the question about white versus red. Everything favors red. There is no question that white light will spook a coyote, despite what I have heard on a few videos. Not always, but enough that you are far better off using red.
On the other hand, I have hunted Sonora and Baja a few times and the coyotes are almost tame, so lights and voices and even downwind human scent doesn't seem to bother them. Not always, but a few times I have had coyotes lazily run up to the truck and look up at me, then casually walk away, since I didn't have a firearm.

Nice light, and I agree to pricey. Its only good out to roughly 300 yards and there are cheaper lights that work just as well.
A white light used over snow will spook any coyotes in the area so yeah red is a better choice..

300 yards at night seems like plenty, how much more do you need?

Leonard, thats what I'm hoping to be the case with the red/white. Seems like most coyotes just don't show up when we are using the white, we know they are there from locating, and sometimes maybe we are getting into some that maybe haven't been spotlighted when we do have success. Overall I would say our percentage of called in at night is 1 in 15 stands.

Yes I agree, that's why I said you could buy a cheaper light that will work just as good and with some have the option to go to a burn light for the shot.
This light for example sells for 119.00 and comes with red/white lens, on and off button and a pressure switch. There may be better choices but they will cost you way more and they tend to be bulky. If using the light with a scope a dimmer switch is pretty much useless...
